I had to remove this code: {{<includeonly>subst:</includeonly>#ifeq:{{{sig}}}|n| |-- ~~<includeonly></includeonly>~~}} because the template always displayed with an added {{subst:#ifeq:n|n| |-- ~~~~}}. — Sebastian00:59, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That would be because you didn't subst: the template, you transcluded it instead. As written before your change, it worked when subst'd. Now it won't -- and any change to it will affect every page where it's transcluded, making them vulnerable to template vandalism. I wish you had copied the template over to a new one for the purpose of non-subst use, and left this one as is. Ben06:50, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about that - I just reverted the coda to your version, so it should work again. But is there really no way to make it work in both modes? It doesn't make sense to create a template for non-subst, because you never know when it gets subst'd by a bot, or even by a user when they archives it. — Sebastian09:47, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
