Shouldn't this have the Spanish-American War in it as well, as that gained the US a number of territories. 86.139.146.148 (talk) 15:07, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since the Northern Marianas are unincorporated territories of the US, should they be represented here somehow? I'm not sure what exactly was the legal document that formally annexed them. Was it the "Covenant to establish a Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in Political Union with the United States of America"? --Jfruh (talk) 00:28, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
