Razzinator socking and also violating block evasion

[edit]

Razzinator (talk · contribs), socking with IP to avoid block and violate block evasion during block you gave the user. I blocked the IP User:68.118.199.90 and tagged, but perhaps you could take a look, and extend the block on the main account Razzinator for block evasion and socking? Cirt (talk) 22:04, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, I blocked Razzinator indef, turns out the account is a sock of already indef blocked Onelifefreak2007 (talk · contribs). Cirt (talk) 08:00, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That was over 18 months ago. I'd like to review it to see if semiprotection is still considered necessary. See talk:renewable energy. --TS 11:30, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Erm, wrong person? :) GDonato (talk) 16:18, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies. I get this problem when I try to warn a particularly bad edit for the last time, Unfortunately, you had reverted the edits before I could warn the vandal, and so you got it instead... Sorry... Rkr1991 (Wanna chat?) 04:42, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocking problem?

[edit]

Hi. You blocked User:208.49.40.13 for 24 hours for vandalism. It looks like this editor made a further 2 vandalistic edits (which I've reverted) four minutes after the block. andy (talk) 16:34, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They were one day and four minutes after, confused me for a moment too :) GDonato (talk) 20:43, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

where was the need to stop me and a friend having a quick laugh? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iamtheswales (talkcontribs) 23:55, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, unfortunately your "quick laugh" is not appropriate for the site. In addition as the content appeared to be derogatory and/or offensive you were issued with a warning, if you are genuinely interested in creating an article see WP:FIRST but continuing to recreate that page will lead to loss of editing privileges. Best regards, GDonato (talk) 00:00, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Vandalism

[edit]

Um I didn't vandalize anything. If anything got deleted then it must have been a mistake. Let me know what page that was on but I did not vandalize anything. Thank you. (Rwhollywoodfan (talk) 17:16, 1 April 2010 (UTC))[reply]

I think there might be a misunderstanding; I haven't accused you of anything, as far as I can tell you've done nothing wrong at all! :) GDonato (talk) 19:44, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok thank you sorry i just saw your name and a weird message. must have been a mistake. thanks again (Rwhollywoodfan (talk) 19:25, 3 April 2010 (UTC))[reply]

"Mae Beavers" article

[edit]

The article on Tennessee State Senator Mae Beavers may have a problem. The last line of the article, copied below, may present libel problems and should be reviewed. The line reads:

"Fake conservative and crazy person Susan Lynn filed to run against Beavers in the 2010 Republican primary."

I am not sure what it means to be a fake conservative or if it is appropriate to term someone "crazy".

Not sure why you've picked me to raise this with but I've gone ahead and removed the sentence in question while I try to work it out. Thanks. GDonato (talk) 23:21, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vandilism

[edit]

Hello GDonato,

Im just reporting a case of vandilism. An editor "Pyrrhus16" keeps replacing the lead paragraphs on the Michael Jackson page, please look into it.

The article Delirious (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The page is simply a redirect to the real disambiguation page. It is not required.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Molag Bal banning

[edit]

I live in Binghamstown in Co Mayo. I noticed that there was an error (Binghamstown used to be called Ballymacsheeran, not whatever is written in Wiki - I'll check with my husband who is a local historian and a Bingham). I noticed that Molag Bal (?? don't have name in front of me) was banned. I was interested in learning why. You seem to have been involved in the decision. I have no idea how these things work.
