A tag has been placed on Roxy Cinema requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Roxy Cinema. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. @Significa liberdade:

I have contested against your speedy deletion nomination on Roxy Cinema's talk page. It was contested as the article in question pertains to a movie theatre named Roxy Cinema in Singapore, not the Roxy Cinema in Vermont as shown in your 'Article for deletion' link. Additionally, sources do exist for this Roxy Cinema, which are provided in my contestation against your request. I would appreciate it if the speedily delete template was removed from the article, thank you. Please '@' my username so that I get notified of your response (talk) 05:18, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

SMRT Comic Connect

[edit]

Hey there. I might be off Wikipedia for a few days, but if you can, on my behalf, help update some of the station articles to include entries of SMRT Comic Connect? Except for Changi Airport; the pdf link hasn't been updated.--ZKang123 (talk)

Hi, I can do that, no problem at all. Imbluey2. Please ping me so that I get notified of your response 07:53, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Faber House explosions moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Faber House explosions. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 12:59, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Miminity I understand. I received a message a couple of days that the article may not meet WP:EVENT since there was not much of a lasting impact. I did forgot to mention that it was one of Singapore's first experiences with terrorism. Other than that, I'm thinking about merging it into an article on Faber House and mention the explosions as one of its points... Imbluey2. @Tavantius: I am actually considered nominating it for DYK but I can't really think of any facts that would get people to click on the article. Maybe "did you know... that Singapore's 'first R-rated play' was technically two plays?" Imbluey2. Please ping me so that I get notified of your response 14:45, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In my opinion, the part where the Public Entertainment Licensing Unit rated it R, making it Singapore's first film with that rating, could be the subject of the DYK. Tavantius (talk) 14:55, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, that works. Imbluey2. Please ping me so that I get notified of your response 14:56, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Chinese Garden MRT station

[edit]

On 12 November 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Chinese Garden MRT station, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Chinese Garden MRT station did not originally have access to the Chinese Garden? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Chinese Garden MRT station. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Chinese Garden MRT station), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
