I noticed you're using my {{bottompostusertalk}} template. I just made a new one that you might like better, {{usercomment}}. --Theodore Kloba 20:06, Dec 22, 2004 (UTC)

Bhamwiki

[edit]

I've noticed your doing a lot of work on Birmingham-related articles. You may be interested to know about a complementary project I started two years ago to document the Birmingham District at bhamwiki.com. We're closing in on 4,000 articles, some of which might be useful for you as you work to expand Wikipedia's coverage. --Dystopos (talk) 22:50, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"The" UAB

[edit]

Using "The" in front of a university title goes against Wikipedia style. Even Ohio State University, which its alumni persist in calling "THE Ohio State University," does not use "the" in the title. I am also reverting a move by another editor for the main U of A article for the same reason. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 03:18, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I did the dirty work for you on reverting the page moves. And having done so, I can understand why you didn't want to. :-) - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 04:06, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
