hello jessie, welcome to Wikipedia, I am Nicky and if you any question or require any help please post it down below.(this is not a computer generated message so please don't hesitate to ask.Nicky mathew (talk) 16:44, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nicky! Not sure if this is how to respond, I'm new to this! I noticed you left a few comments on my page, and I was just wondering how I could improve it. With the advertisement comment, I was thinking that it had to do with the "Kickstarter" section so I tried to use more neutral language. I'm not sure how to improve the "original content" as I tried to add as many citations as were available. If you have any helpful advice I would really appreciate it as this is for a school assignment and I want to ensure the quality is great. @Jessielaurenza: Hi jessie, thank you for explaining the reason why wrote this article, usually a new users try to promote or advertise a person or a company in wikipedia so I added that advertisement tag. first thing to improve this article is to add a lot of inline citations and references as possible, do not give too much emphasis on the Kickstarter project because it might be seen as promotional and also add an infobox with the picure. if u need further help of suggestion or explanation please don't hesitate to ask and also if possible please tell more your school project, I am very interested to know more about it.Nicky mathew (talk) 17:20, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Nicky Mathew: Okay thanks for your suggestions ! I tried adding an info box with the picture before but my photo got deleted by I will try again! The projects is for my university film class and were basically trying to get more info on women filmmakers out on the web. Adding wikipedia pages gives them much needed recognition! Do you think I should put the quotations in block quotes or is it okay as is?

@Jessielaurenza: I have added an infobox, you just need to fill all the information. adding a picture is not necessary but make the article look better and presentable. i think the picture was deleted becoz of copyright violation. you cannot add a picture that you found on the internet. you need to add a picture that is either taken by yourself or must convince copyright holder to allow you to upload that picture to Wikipedia and again adding a picture is not necessary.Nicky mathew (talk) 17:42, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Jessielaurenza: jessie, I have seen the new picture that you uploaded, i think that picture will also get deleted because it violates copyright and also if you continue to upload copyright protected picture you may get blocked from Wikipedia so be careful.Nicky mathew (talk) 18:03, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Nicky Matthew: Okay, I deleted the picture because I did not see the correct copyright info. Is there any way I can keep some of the kickstarter info in without the page being flagged as an advertisement? I just though it was a good example of the struggle female filmmakers have to go to in order to make their films.

@Jessielaurenza: ok go ahead write about Kickstarter campaign, just don't make a heading, write a para or 2 without too much external link to the campaign page. I will remove both tags after you complete editing the whole article, just msg me in my talk page when you are done with it.wikipedia needs more women Wikipedians and if you are interested please continue contributing to Wikipedia even after you are done with your project.
