Dab pages get one link per entry

[edit]

Hello! Regarding your edit to Endor. I have removed the link to J. R. R. Tolkien in the entry for Middle-earth. Disambiguation pages should have one link per entry in almost all cases. Dab pages get used for when one term ("Endor") has multiple uses (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, biblical village, etc.). They're supposed to direct reads to the article they're looking for by that name. They're not intended to link to all relevant articles. For more information, see WP:DAB and MOS:DAB. Thank you for making WP:NODRAMA a success!

[edit]

Thank you again for your support of the Great Wikipedia Dramaout. Preliminary statistics indicate that 129 new articles were created, 203 other articles were improved, and 183 images were uploaded. Additionally, 41 articles were nominated for DYK, of which at least 2 have already been promoted. There are currently also 8 articles up for GA status and 3 up for FA/FL status. Though the campaign is technically over, please continue to update the log page at WP:NODRAMA/L with any articles which you worked during the campaign, and also to note any that receive commendation, such as DYK, GA or FA status. You may find the following links helpful in nominating your work:

  • T:TDYK for Did You Know nominations
  • WP:GAC for Good Article nominations
  • WP:FAC for Featured Article nominations
  • WP:FLC for Featured List nominations
  • WP:FPC for Featured Picture nominations

Again, thank you for making this event a success! --Jayron32.talk.say no to drama 02:29, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

spaces in headers

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that in some of your recent edits, you remove blanks around header titles. According to WP:MOS#Section headings, such blanks are optional, so this is not a real problem. However, several automatized editors like Friendly or Twinkle will, in fact, put these blanks back in automatically. So if anyone using those editors will edit these articles after you, the blanks will be back. Just thought I'd drop you a note, so you can save your self the trouble! Happy editing! --Crusio (talk) 09:40, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
