Welcome to the Economics WikiProject
[edit]Hi, and welcome to the Economics WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to Economics.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Most of our important discussions about the project itself and its related articles take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Expand some economics stubs.
- Pitch in on our current FA drive.
- Assess the quality and importance of unassessed Economics articles.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the members, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! --Patrick (talk) 03:09, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hi! Thank you for welcoming me :-) And thank you for the compliment ^^" I don't know if I would be able to contribute much to the English Wikipedia as I'm very involved right now into developing of the Polish Wiktionary. [edit]Hey there, as you may know, I withdrew my RfA earlier this week. I am sorry if I disappointed you, as you stated your support for my endeavours. However, I could not tolerate the stress brought by the personal attacks and hostility that were being aimed my way. I am on Wikibreak now (just checking the site to make sure no one goofed up my pages) and I am not certain when or if I will resume full editing. But I wanted to say Hello and share my appreciation for your friendship. Ecoleetage (talk) 04:08, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello, you are receiving this message because you voted in the last FAC for this article. Currently, it is undergoing a peer review and I invite you to come view the page and offer any suggestions for improvement here [1]. Over the past three months, the page has been improved with additional scholarly works, trims, two new sections suggested in and attention to concerns raised during the last FAC. Thanks in advance for your time, attention and help to bring this important article to FA. NancyHeise talk 23:56, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

GMU is not in Fairfax
[edit]You said: "Removed unnecessary information. Main campus of GMU is in Fairfax, Virginia." [2]
GMU, that is necessary information. If you look at a map of the City of Fairfax, you will find that GMU is adjacent to, but not in Fairfax. Wikipedia is precise with locations, and if something is in an unincorporated area of Y county, Wikipedia says so. I'll see if I can cite a City Map of Fairfax to add proof that GMU is not in Fairfax. WhisperToMe (talk) 19:42, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

WP:FILMS Questionnaire
[edit]As a member of WikiProject Films, you are invited to take part in the project's first questionnaire. It is intended to gauge your participation and views on the project. At the conclusion of the questionnaire, the project's coordinators will use the gathered feedback to find new ways to improve the project and reach out to potential members. The results of the questionnaire will be published in next month's newsletter. If you know of any editors who have edited film articles in the past, please invite them to take part in the questionnaire. Please stop by and take a few minutes to answer the questions so that we can continue to improve our project. Happy editing!
