NHL team season articles

[edit]

Please stop adding the names of players that were selected with traded picks in the transaction section of these articles as this goes against the accepted practice of how this section is handled. If you do not stop doing this, I will be forced to start issuing you with warnings for disruptive editing and I don't want to have to do that to an editor that is otherwise useful to the project. Deadman137 (talk) 00:56, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Deadman137: You just went through and removed everything that I established starting with last season. If not for the work I've done there would be no transaction sections on these pages - you can confirm that yourself. I will be reverting as much of your revertions on this matter, however I would like your acknowledgement prior to doing so. Nanerz (talk) 01:10, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You should never have added those player names to any traded draft pick in the first place as none of them were apart of the initial trade, which is all we are concerned with. The purpose of this section is just to list the transaction that took place as it was stated at the time of the trade, anything that happens with the traded draft pick (unless it is traded again) after the transaction is of no further concern to team season or NHL transaction articles. Deadman137 (talk) 18:30, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Deadman137: Purpose? Says who? I'll keep adding them, thanks for your input though. Nanerz (talk) 19:03, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Per this [1] which has been the established practice for many years. Any further attempts on your part to add this will be treated as disruptive editing going forward. Deadman137 (talk) 23:03, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I also looked through your talk page history and you had this same conversation with Sabbatino last year. It's about time that you dropped this useless crusade of yours because the only thing that will happen is a potential block or topic ban. Deadman137 (talk) 23:34, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
