Welcome to Wikipedia, NicatronTg! Thank you for your contributions. I am Matthewrbowker and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Phil Fish article

[edit]

I apologize for my unauthorized delete, but I saw that someone had posted something that was an insult against Mr. Fish, and while I have no opinion on the man himself or his views, I figured that it was not something that was supposed to go on a Wikipedia article, an unobjective view, so I deleted it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.180.128.177 (talk) 00:40, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In the future, you should use the revert tools in page history to undo that change, instead of editing it. You accidentally removed the entire userbox from the page, hence my revert. Sorry about the confusion! Lucas "Shank" Nicodemus (talk) 01:24, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for rollback

Hi NicatronTg. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! AdmrBoltz 02:09, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the welcome

[edit]

I appreciate your suggestion to get an account but as an outsider, looking in, I can see a lot of hostility, personal attacks and trolling among WP editors. This is not for me! Your welcome, then, is all the more appreciated—thanks. --217.155.32.221 (talk) 22:20, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions, none the less! We love editors, anonymous or not, as people like you help keep Wikipedia one of the best websites we can. NicatronTg (talk) 22:30, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tyrese Edit

[edit]

I made the edit but should have undone the other edit where false information was added. The information did not match with what was stated on the source & I'm a national officer for the organization & checked our membership data. Tyrese Gibson is not a member. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Occasio (talkcontribs) 04:46, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The source that referred to him being in that organization is a book/periodical, and I cannot confirm that. However, still, you need an outside source (such as a public member list) to remove that as there is already a pending citation that proves that he is. colwiz redirect

[edit]

Hello, I'm NicatronTg. I noticed that you recently removed some content from ColWiz without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If you meant to remove this redirect, feel free to follow deletion procedures & explain why it should be removed. NicatronTg (talk) 15:28, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

Please can you remove the redirect - I thought that was what I had done but it still exists in Google. The company is called colwiz all lower case! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.255.113.66 (talk) 15:34, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect is not cached in Google -- the actual page is, but it was recently moved. The name should change in Google over the next few days as Google re-crawls that wikipedia page. NicatronTg (talk) 15:37, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks for your help! Is the redirect actually deleted now?
The redirect is still there, because it meets criteria for it to exist. We tend to keep redirects from page moves like that so that people who are searching end up in the correct location. It should not be removed really, as it helps users of wikipedia in finding the correct article. NicatronTg (talk) 15:45, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
can you elaborate on this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.255.113.66 (talk)
Google uses a program called Googlebot which automatically crawls websites (like wikipedia) and detects changes. Google's index of this wikipedia page will not change until Google has seen the page again, at which point it will change. NicatronTg (talk) 16:03, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for all of your help with that! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.255.113.66 (talk) 16:05, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit was to add acronym "REEEP" to Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership. Reason: Organization is commonly known as REEEP, and not its full name, and thus to minimize confusion the acronym was added. If the same requirements are to be made for all the organization listed, for instance, then REN21 would have to be called "Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jwtkac (talkcontribs) 16:20, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Removed from Pedophilia page

[edit]

I would like to know if you are a homosexual yourself, just like James Cantor, and that's why you removed my comment on him or his research. There is a strong link between pedophilia and homosexuality. For example, homosexuals are far more likely to sexually abuse their children. You can check it out here:http://www.frc.org/get.cfm?i=is02e3 Also, http://www.frc.org/issuebrief/new-study-on-homosexual-parents-tops-all-previous-research Homosexuality is sexually deviant behaviour, just like pedophilia. In other words, James Cantor is a bit of a hypocrate, and has been acused in the past wanting to normalize pedophila, just like homosxuality was normalized in the seventies by the homosexual rights movement. But there is cure and hope for them (and you?) More on that hereÑ http://www.sodahead.com/living/homosexuality-is-just-sexual-deviant-behavior-not-a-mental-illness/question-3514517/ James Cantor and colleages of CAMH Canada become editors of wikipedia with full power in order to promote their own research. From neurology (which psychologists mostly ignore) we know that the brain is highly plastic. There is neuroplasticity, which allows people suffering from head trauma to rehabilitate. Cantor claims that the brain is somehow hard-wired from birth in pedohiles and others (a ridiculous notion which contradicts the whole neuroloby) James Cantor has little if any knowledge of biology, yet he adds a whole section on biology on wikipedia - pedophillia. At the CAMH in Canda, they have operated children and changed their genitals (whiech were fixed from birth), claiming they were hard-wired from birth (the brain, which is plastic and changes). Cantor is highly arrogant and aggresive (a sign of low intelligence) and has gotten into various fights with the transexual community. http://ai.eecs.umich.edu/people/conway/TS/DIV44/APA-DIV44.8-05-03.Letter.html The reason for this is that he is based on Blanchard´s theories, which are themselves based on old theories which at best describes some but not all transexuals, yet Cantor wants to impose it on everyone. Ray Blanchard, by many believed to be a repressed homosexual, has redirected all that anger to oppress other sexual minorities. http://ai.eecs.umich.edu/people/conway/TS/DIV44/APA-DIV44.8-05-03.Letter.html His desire to include hebophilia as a mental dissorder in DSM v was rejected by the majority of board members. So we have these dishonest people pushing their own research through wikipedia, even though it makes little sense and no other group has reproduced their data exactly as they show. All Cantor has found is averages, IQ, left-handedness, etc. Same for MRI. His biological theory at best applies to some, but not to all, yet he is reluctant to mention this as may indicate that his research is completely wrong. You should know that 70 per cent of child molesters where sexually abused as children. If they were born that way, as James Cantor impliesm you would no see this correlation. There is, in fact, other research which contradicts Cantor´s, for example on priests who have abused children, yet this research is suppressed by him and others on wikipeida. Thus, I propose the whole biological section of pedophilia on wikipedia be erased. Pedophilia is mostly learned behaviour, which can be changed, but not easily. Cantor places on wikipedia "Beginning in 2002, we did such and such research on the biology" yet this has all been done before, sometimes with contradictory results. So having a PhD in Psychology does not mean you are an honest person. Please ban him from wikipedia, Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.23.36.195 (talk) 22:55, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I removed your edit because it falls under the category of a personal attack directed at a specific user. Please read in depth the message I left on your talk page, rather than coming all the way over here to use another personal attack. Wikipedia's system for blocking and removing users requires warnings to be issued to users along with a "five strikes" system. It does not follow any other system other than that. I'm not a Wikipedia Sysop, and therefore, I cannot personally do anything with your concerns regarding biased editing and the like. You should take that issue up on something like WP:AN rather than outrageous claims like this on talk pages. Lucas "nicatronTg" Nicodemus (talk) 01:48, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please be more careful with your reverts. This revert re-inserted errors into the article. It's difficult to get subject-matter experts to improve articles on Wikipedia - when you simply revert their edits without explanation, you make it even more difficult.

And please use informative edit summaries. This really isn't acceptable. Guettarda (talk) 22:06, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please help revert another series of vandalism acts to TSLAQ entry

[edit]

Thank you for your help thus far, but could you please assist again in cleaning up TSLAQ? Also, how would one go about adding a protection tag to the entry?

Thanks for reaching out! You can always request help more immediately at WP:Teahouse or the admin noticeboard for general incidents if you think that a page is being vandalized. Note that a good majority of the time, editors are watching recent changes and able to take action fairly quickly on vandalism. You can also revert vandalism yourself and issue warnings with WP:Twinkle if you go that route. For protection, you can read WP:Semi and other policies about it, as well as instructions on how to request it for active pages. Unless it's persistent vandalism from multiple editors, though, it usually isn't needed thanks to recent changes patrols. Let me know if you need anything else, and don't forget to sign your talk page messages with four tildes! Lucas "nicatronTg" Nicodemus (talk) 00:47, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
