Speedy deletion nomination of Radha Balakrishnan
[edit]Hello ParulThakur,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Radha Balakrishnan for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Cindydrew (talk) 16:04, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Radha Balakrishnan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page IMSc (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Replaceable fair use File:Bindu Bambah.png
[edit]![](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/15/Ambox_warning_pn.svg/32px-Ambox_warning_pn.svg.png)
Thanks for uploading File:Bindu Bambah.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:55, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Sandhya Bauri, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Sandhva Bauri. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 11:48, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

Duplicate articles
[edit]The articles on some of the politicians created by you already exist. Please consider to improve/enhance existing articles rather than creating the duplicate ones. Example : Divya SinghThanks Shyamsunder (talk) 23:05, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
Hi Shyamsunder - I understand your concern. Maharani Divya Singh and Divya Singh are two different individuals. Former is a politician born in 1963 whereas latter is a sportswoman born in 1982. Hope that clarifies! Thanks! Parul Thakur (talk) 03:19, 10 March 2014 (UTC)Parul Thakur
Wikilinking
[edit]Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.
I noticed you worked on this article:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Geeta_Mukherjee&diff=599697217&oldid=599447587
Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:
- dates
- years
- commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
- common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).
(This even applies for infoboxes.)
Thanks and my best wishes.

Thanks Tony!! Will keep your suggestions in mind!
Ideas and opinions
[edit]Namaste
I have seen you have made some excellent contribution. Thanks for your contribution to Wikipedia.
I have some ideas and opinions.
- Please do not use {{reflist|2}} unless there are too many references (specially if there is one reference, it'll break the ref).
- Section header cap, use general sentence case like "Education and career" and not "Education nd Career.
- In the infobox if you use df=y for dates, it'll become DMY format. Please use either MDY or DMY.
I have made changes in few articles. I have done assessment and persondata+defaultsort etc boring works too. If you have any question or comment you may reply here or contact me here Regards. Tito☸Dutta 22:26, 15 March 2014 (UTC)

A plate of Baingan Bharta for you
[edit]A plate of Baingan Bharta for you | ||
Here is a plate of Baingan Bharta for you. Baingan bharta is a part of the national cuisines of both India and Pakistan. It is primarily a vegetarian dish that comprises bharta (minced vegetables) made from eggplant (baingan) which is grilled over charcoal or direct fire, to infuse the dish with a smoky flavor. Thanks for creating the article Krishna Bose. I was a student of City College, Kolkata, where she taught for many years. And she somehow contested from an area near to my residence. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Supurna Sinha
[edit]![](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/74/Ambox_warning_yellow.svg/48px-Ambox_warning_yellow.svg.png)
The article Supurna Sinha has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No indication of notability, tagged for months without improvement. Nothing beyond passing mentions found via Google.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Huon (talk) 20:28, 2 November 2014 (UTC)

Cut-and-paste move
[edit] Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Anubha Bhosle a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Anubha Bhonsle. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you.
