JohnnyBoyXo

[edit]

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Template:JohnnyBoyXo has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:32, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Trisha paytas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Melissa Barthelemy

[edit]

Hello Procrastinator16,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Melissa Barthelemy for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Gbawden (talk) 10:56, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Melissa Barthelemy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Victim of unknown serial killer with his own page. Not notable otherwise. Should be deleted or merged with Long Island serial killer article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Jessica Taylor (prostitute)

[edit]

Hello Procrastinator16,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jessica Taylor (prostitute) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, GrooveDog FOREVER 21:59, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent edit to Westwood High School (Austin, Texas) appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article to establish notability. If you wish to create such an article, please confirm that your subject is notable according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Gtwfan52 (talk) 21:54, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, you've ignored this and done it again at Mountain View High School (Pima County, Arizona). I'll be checking your other edits and deciding if you are here to contribute or should be blocked. Dougweller (talk) 06:34, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Geoffrey Paris, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

File permission problem with File:Lindsay Lohan 2013.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Lindsay Lohan 2013.jpg, which you've sourced to perezhilton.com. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. Orphaned non-free media (File:Anna Smith.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Anna Smith.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. About the deleted article Geoffrey Paris

[edit]

Hi Procrastinator16. I'm Peter aka Shirt58. I'm a little bit queer inasmuch as I reject heteronormativity. I would be more than happy to help you improve the Wikipedia project in any way I can.--Shirt58 (talk) 10:45, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I'm not sure how to respond on this lol. I guess what I'm doing now is the correct way? Yes please please please help improve the Geoffrey Paris page! I would love seeing him be a part of the encyclopedia. I suppose you don't know what I want improved? May I suggest adding the background information box as well as a picture? Also will you make it so Geoffrey can have structured paragraphs; I tried doing that on my own but Wikipedia said something in my references was spammed so I got annoyed and didn't re-write bigger paragraphs.
You've responded just fine. Wikipedia is immense and its Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines are (in my opinion) somewhat labyrinthine. For example, you could go through the Wikipedia:Deletion review process for Geoffrey's article... and still get nowhere.
Here's why. The criteria for a Wikipedia page (in Wikipedia jargon, "article") to be kept is that it must it must meet Wikipedia:Notability policies. And those must not be promotional. A Neutral point of view is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
What I suggest you do is find Wikipedia:Reliable references about Geoffrey. In this case, newspaper articles would be good. What can you find through Google News?
--Shirt58 (talk) 11:17, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay thank you. There's nothing in Google News about Geoffrey, he does have pages on reverbnation and lastfm which I used at first but Wikipedia said one of my links was spam.

A tag has been placed on File:Amanda Lepore.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

Speedy deletion nomination of Trannylicious (extended play)

[edit]

Hello Procrastinator16,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Trannylicious (extended play) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Beach drifter (talk) 05:05, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Krystal Summers.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Krystal Summers.png.

Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:30, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on James Bissett III requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Procrastinator16 (talk) 10:24, 23 August 2013 (UTC)Why was this page deleted? it had been up for three months before it was deleted.[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kicking Zombie Ass for Jesus, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. DMacks (talk) 15:13, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I shouldn't be blocked because I am not disrupting anything; not to be rude but if you did your research you would know that the film is currently in production and will be released soon, so it needs a plot and a synopsis.

The concern is copyright/licensing violation, which is a non-negotiable situation. DMacks (talk) 04:44, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How is it copyright/licensing violation if it's a film in production with an official website that I get the information from? Procrastinator16 (talk) 04:48, 28 August 2013 (UTC)Procrastinator16[reply
