File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Binky Waving.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Binky Waving.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 11:55, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Ted Charakter

[edit]Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kylo Ren, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! Episode VII navbox
[edit]Please refrain from adding Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi to the Episode VII navbox. Brief archive recordings do not encapsulate a featured role in the film. Additionally, please stop adding the template to those articles themselves. You've been actually edit-warring with several editors through your actions. Respect consensus and desists. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited No Manches Frida, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Edward Allen and Eddie Allen. [edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Chewbacca does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! bojo1498 talk 15:16, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Krennic.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Krennic.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:32, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
Rogue One character articles
[edit]Hey there, it looks like you are creating character articles for all of the main characters in Rogue One. I believe they are all notable enough for articles, but please be sure to bolster new creations with a good amount of citations asserting notability before you move on to the next one. For example, K-2SO has almost no citations and may be redirected or tagged for deletion before any other editors interested in Star Wars have a change to help improve it. It is better to have redirects to the film article, which has a lot of information, than a series of stubs which will only drive readers to the film article anyway. So please work to improve the articles you've created so far before you create new ones for Galen Erso, Chirrut Îmwe, and Baze Malbus. Thanks. — TAnthonyTalk 18:49, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
- I've restored both Mon Mothma and Galen Erso to redirects. Despite my request above, you have recreated these stubs with no new information specific to these characters to assert notability of their worthiness for individual articles. You have solely taken basic citations from other new SW character articles which only establish the existence of films/novels featuring the characters. You have also not made any additional effort to improve K-2SO since my request, which is an equally insufficient stub. Other have stepped in to begin to improve Orson Krennic, but it's inappropriate for you to create a series of flimsy character stubs and expect others to do the heavy lifting. As always, I appreciate your interest and participation, but there is a certain responsibility we must take on when creating articles. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 19:58, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Kanan Jarrus.jpeg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Kanan Jarrus.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. - Qäsee, you seem to have also uploaded the image File:Darth Maul-Son of Dathomir.png with no licensing information or fair use rationale, which is required. You did provide the source, so thank you. I've added the missing information, reduced the image to the proper size, and moved it to a more descriptive title. I have offered my assistance to you with uploading images and hope you will take me up on it in the future. Uploaded copyrighted images to Wikipedia without justification is a serious issue, and I would not want your editing privileges to be compromised over something like this. [edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Princess Leia, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. — TAnthonyTalk 22:01, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. Galobtter (pingó mió) 15:52, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Don't F**k With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Green (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Linking to Star Trek uniforms in lede
[edit]Hiya. I've reverted your additions of the rank/title for characters like Sisko, Janeway, etc. for a few reasons. For one, the characters are not always "at" those particular ranks/roles throughout the media, so they're inapt labels. Additionally, the linked target doesn't really describe the role/job of being a captain, admiral, etc., so it's not a helpful link destination. I think there might also be some MOS guideline about not starting an article with a link, but I might just be making that up. I suggest bringing this issue up at the Star Trek wikiproject page if you would like to discuss further. --EEMIV (talk) 16:32, 18 July 2020 (UTC)

Ludwig Erhard
[edit]Dear Qäsee,
please take note that it is not reasonable to treat LE in an encyclopedia(!) as an independent politician. Yes, there is quite an arcane debate in Germany about the fact that Erhard probably never paid membership dues to the CDU, and one could argue that his membership is therefore somewhat questionable, but the fact is that no one doubted his membership at the time. You can see this, for example, in the fact that Erhard was party chairman for over a year from 1966 to 1967, which, according to the CDU party statutes that were valid then as now, is only possible for a full party member. And in any case it would be misleading to call him independent. I rather suspect that his CDU local association simply did not take it so exactly with the contributions with him as the minister/chancellor - but be that as it may: Wikipedia is not a platform for original research. Maybe also have a look at the German Wiki article on Erhard, where he is also referred to as a CDU politician as a matter of course and this debate is addressed in a short section.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Bela Anda.jpeg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Bela Anda.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.tagesspiegel.de/gesellschaft/medien/comeback-bela-anda-geht-zurueck-zur-bild/6601586.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 15:16, 19 October 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Social Democratic Party of Germany, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Vacant0 (talk) 12:05, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

Your changes to the status parameter in infobox officeholder, e.g. at Joseph Gobbels
[edit]Could you please stop to make these changes for a bit, and try to gather consensus for them? You have used the "status" parameter in template:infobox office-holder of various articles to add a country, and made changes to the infobox in some articles by introducing a parameter "order", and adding a country under "status". Afaics, the status parameter is to be used to mark if the officeholder is the incumbent. Further, looking at different articles, Abraham Lincoln e.g., the country is never mentioned in the infobox in the manner you do it now. I have undone your edits for the time being. Regards. Hello, Qäsee
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Atsme, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Minister President of Rhineland-Palatinate, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Atsme}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!
