On the Page Reactions to the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting
[edit]Its me. I edit anonymously. I only created this account to create this page. I locked myself out after creating it. I made this page while I was in Toronto, but have since taken a flight to Vancouver and from there have come to Surrey. --96.48.244.69 (talk) 22:48, 16 June 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Alejandro Jano Fuentes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mount Sinai Hospital. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

List of Montessori schools?
[edit]Hallo Schmarrnintelligenz,

Funny
[edit]I seriously laughed out loud. You have me pegged all wrong. You could have figured this out if you weren't so jumpy. "Disagrees with SI" -> "Politically biased" is logically fallacious. Please, let's at least try to collaborate. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 18:51, 3 November 2016 (UTC)
- My answer here in context. Please consider that calling fellow contributors "jumpy" is a personal attack. :-) --SI 19:23, 3 November 2016 (UTC)
- It wasn't meant in a derogatory sense; I'm sorry if it came off that way. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 20:02, 3 November 2016 (UTC)

David Hamilton
[edit]Thank you very much Schmarrnintelligenz for your support about added information by myself on David Hamilton English-wiki page. I am a scientific observer, editor and tries to help on subjects of interest. By the way, you'll see that User:Yintan has cancelled/reverted some contributions to Hamilton's page about allegations of rapes. This was about support of French minister Laurence Rossignol and Flavie Flament (potential victim) statement after Hamilton's death. I think his point of view is not neutral and balanced on this aspect. If you can help... Best regards, --Gabuzomeuh (talk) 19:34, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- You're welcome :-) Yes, it was a very weak argument to delete the whole thing "only for" wording and formatting issues. Usually a fellow contributor should AGF and help improve such a well-sourced section. I'll look into it again when I have more time later. --SI 20:22, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
Two kittens from Fylbecatulous
[edit]Fylbecatulous has given you a kitten! Kittens promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Your kitten must be fed three times a day and will be your faithful companion forever! Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a kitten, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
Spread the goodness of kittens by adding {{subst:Kitten}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message, or kittynap their kitten with {{subst:Kittynap}}
- Thank you for noticing and brightening my day. All the best Fylbecatulous talk 14:12, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

"Policing" user page categories
[edit]Just for the record, people aren't going around "policing" userpage categories due to a lack of anything productive to do -- people are doing the productive task of cleaning up the Special:WantedCategories list. That list picks up all redlinked (i.e. nonexistent) categories that have at least one page filed in them, regardless of namespace, so that they can be cleaned up or removed from articles -- but because it can only detect a specific set number of redlinked categories before it's full, and any redlinked categories above and beyond that number simply don't get detected at all, it simply cannot have redlinked user categories left on it as "just leave this there and don't do anything about it", because every time we do that we're pushing a redlinked mainspace category into "not getting detected and therefore not getting cleaned up" territory. So no, people aren't just messing with your categories to be dicks: we're actually doing a genuinely important Wikipedia maintenance task that cannot be ignored. It might seem insignificant to you because it's just userspace, but redlinked userspace categories do get detected by the same tool we use to clean up redlinked mainspace categories, and actively interfere with the redlinked mainspace categories, so it's a much more important issue than you seem to think it is.
