A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Studentsdash, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. C F A 00:02, 3 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

If you want to contest the deletion, you need to leave a well-reasoned message on the article’s talk page or the deletion discussion page. Here’s how you can structure your contested deletion request:

Contested Deletion Request for StudentsdasDear Wikipedia Administrators,

I would like to contest the deletion of the Studentsdash page. The page was marked for speedy deletion under CSD G11 (advertising/promotional content), but I believe this decision may have been made in error. 1. Neutral and Factual Information – The article was written in an informative and factual manner, aiming to document the existence of Studentsdash as an educational platform. It does not contain exaggerated or promotional language. 2. Educational and Noteworthy Platform – Studentsdash is a platform that provides free academic resources, past questions, and CBT practice, primarily for students of Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Nigeria. It serves an important educational purpose. 3. Notability and Reliable Sources – While the article may need additional citations, Studentsdash is known and used by students. I am willing to improve the article by adding independent sources (news articles, blogs, or academic references) to meet Wikipedia’s notability guidelines. 4. Willing to Revise – If the article contains any content that violates Wikipedia’s policies, I am open to editing and rewriting it in a more neutral, encyclopedic tone.

I kindly request that the page be restored or moved to my userspace so I can revise and improve it to meet Wikipedia’s standards.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards, [Your Wikipedia Username]

How to Submit Your Request: 1. Go to the deletion discussion page (linked in the deletion notice). 2. Click “Edit” and paste your message. 3. Submit your request and wait for admin feedback.

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or website, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.
