File permission problem with File:Floricienta3.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Floricienta3.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MorganKevinJ(talk) 14:47, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Casi Angeles1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Casi Angeles1.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. File copyright problem with File:Florencia Bertotti Floricienta.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Florencia Bertotti Floricienta.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Denniss (talk) 12:58, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Florencia Bertotti Floricienta.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Florencia Bertotti Floricienta.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Non-free use disputed for File:Elyon_brown.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Elyon_brown.png. Unfortunately, I think that you have not provided a proper rationale for using this image under "fair use". Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. Note that the image description page must include the exact name or a link to each article the image is used in and a separate rationale for each one. (If a link is used, automated processes may improperly add the related tag to the image. Please change the fair use template to refer to the exact name, if you see this warning.)

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. My errors[edit]

I apologize for disrupting the article whilst claiming to make it more "grammatical"; I'm not all that proficient at typing, especially when on a rush, so I unintentionally made those errors. Funny to talking with you![edit]

Hi! Glad to hear from you. Yes, as you see, I have been trying to complete that NGE sandbox. I thought that it.wiki's title has so many material that can be used to enrich the contents of zh.wiki's. Actually, I am not good at translating Italian into Chinese, so the translating progress is slow. It will be a long and lonely journey. BTW, I'd like to be provided some English material or even maybe Japanese material about that 1995's animation. That will be greatful. In my plan, the original title from zh.wiki(Chinese: 新世纪福音战士) will be move to the title correspond with Neon Genesis Evangelion (franchise), and the sandbox will be the title which will devoted to the 1995's animation. --JuneAugust (talk) 01:26, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Asuka Langley Soryu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alienation (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Nice work[edit]

Hi there. Just coming to say you did a great work in the Evangelion articles. I guess you must be from the Italian wiki, right? There was also a user who did that in the Russian wiki in both Eva and Fate/stay night articles. Nice work. I hope to see more of this. Cheers :D Tintor2 (talk) 00:56, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I once tried rewriting the in-universe information of Shinji in order to tone it down but my edits got reverted for some reason. I don't know if it helps but the Russian wikipedia got images of the main cast that show multiple of their designs as well as Units in the background.Tintor2 (talk) 17:11, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I tried rerranging some tidbits from the Naruto Uzumaki article to separate analysis from critical reception. I made that article GA but when a former user known as 1989 tried making it FA, he was asked to find these types of in-depths cholars articles. I'm pretty sure Shinji might have similar stuff. Another GA I worked once was Raiden (Metal Gear) who was given similar articles based on how his creator talked about his thoughts of the character while his changes in design and personality in each of his appearances.Tintor2 (talk) 17:44, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nice. Shinji's article keeps looking better. I changed the image to one of Shinji himself if you are okay with this. From what reviews told me, it is recommended to use images of characters alone rather than two unless it's part of the things discussed. Sometimes, it's better to use promotional images from the official website like Akane Tsunemori or Atsushi Nakajima (Bungo Stray Dogs) but it seems the Gainax site doesn't offer an image of Shinji.Tintor2 (talk) 17:49, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copying licensed material requires attribution[edit]

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Shinji Ikari you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 12:41, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ayanami Rei[edit]

Rei-chan is very popular. I think that she's very quiet and doesn't wish to talk very much, and doesn't complain. In Japan, I suppose that girls like that are very much desired. [...] She was created solely for the purpose of being an Eva's pilot and I'm not quite sure if she's happy.

Nice. You actually did it. It is really weird to find an anime episode article except the first episode of Pokemon. Good luck with it. Considering Netflix redubbed the anime, I wonder if there is more exceptional content kinda like the meme of Kaworu about Shinji being worthy of his grace. Good luck with it.Tintor2 (talk) 13:45, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review. I guess I'll work in fellow X character Subaru Sumeragi next. Good luck with the Evangelion articles. Feel free to ask me for a review.Tintor2 (talk) 23:05, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Merry Christmas[edit]

Merry Christmas. You have been doing an amazing work to the Evangelion articles, probably making them one of the best in Wikipedia in general. Keep up the good work and enjoy the Holidays.

Rearrangement[edit]

After you did those Evangelion articles, I wonder if you think Shirou Emiya should be reorganized. I mean, I tried trimming the reception but he has so many different incarnations popular in Western countries that the reception is still too big. I thought about this after you reviewed Kimihiro Watanuki and tried doing other Clamp articles like Subaru Sumeragi be reorganized in different areas. Anyway, happy new year and happy editing.Tintor2 (talk) 00:56, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Makoto Naegi[edit]

What's up. I've been expanding Makoto Naegi's article and managed to expand it thanks to certain stuff from the wiki. By any chance do you know where I could link it? By the way, Makoto is voiced by Megumi Ogata like Shinji and in the casting section I managed to add an interview where Ogata remembers her work as Shinji so it might help. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 19:25, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work with Kaworu's article. Even a one episode character has a lot of coverage. I tried dividing Shirou Emiya's real world information in the same pattern you did with the cast of Evangelion to divide the real world info. Feel free to edit it. Also, I think I reached the limit of coverage for Makoto Naegi but I'm not sure if he has enough real world info to create a section about analysis. Couldn't find any book about that in google books.Tintor2 (talk) 17:58, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Real life is more important so don't worry. I'm also planning to nominate Makoto once it's copyedited so we can do another exchange of reviews in the process to make it faster.Tintor2 (talk) 22:22, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

By the way. Forgot to tell you this. When I created the article Akira Fudo (Devilman) I found commentary from Hideaki Anno in regards to how Devilman inspired him to create one of the Evangelions. Check it in case you aim to write an article about the robot.Tintor2 (talk) 13:34, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I tried searching in commons but I can't find a pic of Ogata in the main category.Tintor2 (talk) 16:12, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I saw the image has a problem with required permission for it to be used. Weird how it is used a lot in other Wikipedia article like the Italian wiki's End of Evangelion. I put the request for permission to the uploader though in commons.Tintor2 (talk) 13:00, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah Ogata voiced another character from the same series (Nagito Komeda) as a form of fake marketing and also performed some songs from the two animes. Thanks for the help. Keep up the work with the Evangelion articles. The Italian version of End of Eva was incredibly welldetailed when I checked Ogata's pic and links in commons so they might have a lot of sources. About Makoto, I think I covered stuff enough for a GA before copyediting but I sure can't find anything about the design of his adult persona other than Ogata's comment about what was the purpose of it rather than the actual artist. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 23:22, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello:

The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Asuka Langley Soryu has been completed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

I have flagged one sentence in the Rebuild of Evangelion section At the beginning of the film, the young woman refuses any kind of contact with other people and Shinji, only to feel a strong jealousy towards her and a certain interest in his feelings. Who is her? Or is the young woman Misato? This needs clarification. Best of luck with the GAN.

Evangelion articles[edit]

Don't worry about Kaworu's article. However, I would suggest when interacting with that other user, try providing a smaller response considering it would be difficult for others to understand. You can also request for a third opinion. Now that I saw that Kaworu article, I'll see if I can trim Subaru Sumeragi's reception since there is a lot of discussion about having a similar relationship.Tintor2 (talk) 23:05, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if this might help but I found this through Google scholar. However, I can't enter into the article. Then again, if it were to contain information about Makoto considering it covers most visual novel-like games, should it be part of the reception section? The only person who does explain some commentary about Makoto's personality are Ogata and the writer at least but I don't know if it helps.Tintor2 (talk) 20:58, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Some additional changes to A Transfer[edit]

Hi TeenAngels1234, just wanted to drop you a quick note that I've made some additional changes to your recent GA A Transfer – I feel they're all pretty reasonable, but you may still want to review them, since the article was just promoted the other day.

I've been a secret admirer of your Eva-to-GA push for a while now, so I hope you don't mind the stalking. Keep up the good work! AngryHarpytalk 09:45, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, one more small thing – what's with the phrase cured the storyboards? To me, it looks like some form of mistranslation or just general use of the wrong word (perhaps you meant to put curated?), but since the other copy-editor seems to have passed over it and I'm not technically a native speaker myself, I thought I'd ask. To me, a more fitting verb would be composed (which I used in both A Transfer and The Beast), assembled, or, though maybe a bit too much on the colloquial side, put together. AngryHarpytalk 13:21, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re[edit]

I hans’t edit yet, because I found the original sentence from “Newtype issue September 1996”:

“様々な理由で描き切れなかったけど、本来のストーリー上の25・26話(最終回)に関しては、25話はプロットまでできてました。26話はプロットの段階で放棄してしまった。”

and I tried to translate it into English:

“Because of various reasons, I was unable to draw it out, but there is something about the original version of story of episode 25 and 26 which is that the plot of (the original story of) episode 25 had already been done then, but (the original story of) episode 26 was abandoned while its plot was developing.”

If my translation is correct, lack of time wasn’t the reason.(at least Anno hasn’t said that.)

Below are another sentence in the same reference, which mentions the timeline of production:

“ そのとき、まだ最終話の脚本が上がっていない。全部できたのは翌週ですよ。実質3日の作画作業です。本当は、表現としては絵に描いたものすら必要ないんじゃないかと思う。実際は、僕が出てしゃべってもよかったんです。それでもいけるはずだったけど、さすがに拒否された。セル画でない部分、絵コンテの絵をそのまま使ったのは、ワザとです。間に合わなかったとか、そういう問題じゃない。

I note the point of these sentence and translat it: “Things like to finish it on time are not problem.” Although it doesn’t directly relate to the information I talk first, it shows that Anno possibly didn’t worry about time.

If my understanding is wrong, please tell me, or you can ask other editor, too.

p.s. Thank you for congratulation. My answer is yes, but not sure it can pass successfully like Ayanami Rei.

p.p.s I have question for you, too.Would you finish all articles of NGE episodes? The first three articles is really good. If all of them are completed,it will be amazing.

p.p.p.s Writing and typing these words really took me a lot of time… but it’s worth. My English writing isn’t good, I am sorry for that.--EzrealChen (talk) 16:21, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Useful source?[edit]

While searching for a bit more of Makoto Naegi's voice actress commentary (I'm pretty sure she did say something about her character in the End of Hope's Peak anime but I can't find such content), I instead found this interview where Ogata expressed her commentary in regards to how Shiji Ikari is treated in the 3.0 film. The top of the this interview comments on the original source so I think you might be able to use it. Good work with the Evangelion articles.Tintor2 (talk) 02:23, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

About phamplets though, do you know well how to use them in the form of citations? I mean, I had found one of Psycho-Pass: The Movie here and seems quite useful for the lead Shinya Kogami since the two writers there explain the psychology of the character but I don't know how to properly use it as a source.Tintor2 (talk) 21:40, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I mean the formatting. What template should it have? Like "Cite book". Never used one pamphlet in Wikipedia.Tintor2 (talk) 23:11, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I see. That's nice. Thanks for the help. I'll give it a shot. For some reason Production I.G wrote the series' title and movies in English primarily.Tintor2 (talk) 23:27, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How are you doing? I've just created the article for Kyoko Kirigiri. While most of the content is original, some parts involving her creation were taken from the wikia article [2]. I added the link to the bottom but I'm not sure if it's well done. Could you give it a look? Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:21, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I'm not sure if it can go GA isn't I couldn't find stuff about her Japanese actress in contrast to Ogata's long commentary about Makoto while her own novels, Danganronpa Kirigiri appear to haven't been fully translated. Yeah, she appeared in the first game just like Makoto but I'm not sure where to divide sections due to her role in novel not being explained yet in the article. There was another user who attempted to write the novels but he turned out to be a sockpuppet.Tintor2 (talk) 18:08, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I would nominate it to GA in the future but it sure is hard when her novels sure weren't translated.Tintor2 (talk) 14:01, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gyaru Kirigiri[edit]

I think I expanded the article of Kyoko Kirigiri enough but there is something that the Wiki knows that I have no idea how to source. According to the wiki, the character was originally named "Gyaru Kirigiri" in the demo Distrust until it was completely remade for Danganronpa. I can't recognize Japanese through images since I tend to use google translate for some parts but by any chance does this article show the fact that Kyoko was previously named Gyaru? Other than that, I think I'm not lacking more material other than some strange voice actress talk the cast had but in a Japanese radio programm which is impossible to source. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:21, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Forgot to ask you. Do you also plan to make Sadamoto's manga GA? I mean I remember that you particularly did not care about the Rebuilds so Sadamoto's take is also quite different from Anno's original idea. I actually collected some volumes of Sadamoto's manga but now they are kinda hard to obtain due to the editorial running out of copies. It seems Eva sure was also quite popular in my country (Argentina).Tintor2 (talk) 21:06, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Advice about Allen Walker[edit]

There is this FA I somehow made four years ago, Allen Walker. After expanding the creation section thanks to artbook's notes a friend sent me, I was able to find a lot of commentary about how his artist, Hoshino sees him and I wonder if a characterization and themes should be explored. Basically, Allen is initially portrayed as a gentleman who only cares about giving salvation to demons, making various writers to call him some sort of messiah. The big change about his personality in the series probably is when they expand on his the cast wonder how he becomes more informal when interacting with his friends or his mentor stating that he has an actual personality disorder as he acts like his adoptive father rather than his original persona who was far more rude and cocky. Even Hoshino talks about this, calling him "dark Allen" comically. Do you think the creation section should be split for such way to say it. Even the reviewers mention that while originally Allen was some sort of messiah, his characterization became miserable when he starts being possessed by an antagonist to the point the actual voice actor, Ayumu Murase, asked the author if she disliked him in an interview. Anyway, keep up the nice work.Tintor2 (talk) 17:06, 2 May 2021 (UTC) @TenTonParasol: Pinging Parasol since the user has knowledge about the series and books too.Tintor2 (talk) 18:13, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hajime Hinata[edit]

During the review of Hajime I wondered about the sources I added to To Your Eternity#Reception. I mean, most make similar comments like emotional value of the series, Fushi developing human emotions or artwork's analysis. You think it should be cut like Hajime or are some comments worth saving? Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 12:33, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. By the way, the smile image of Rei. Isn't it quite notable for the character article too since Anno commented a lot about how important is that scene for Rei's character arc?Tintor2 (talk) 15:23, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
About to Your Eternity's anime, the opening theme is sang by none other than Hikaru Utada who also made the Rebuild the Evangelion themes. Apparently, the full version of To Your Eternity's opening ("PINK BLOOD") might be released alongside One Last Kiss but I don't get it well due to the page being in Japanese. By any chance do you understand this?Tintor2 (talk) 00:53, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just curious. Do you plan to work in more episodes or focus on other characters like Misato or Gendo? From what I heard that new character from Rebuild might have material for an article. There is also the fact that the End of Evangelion article is quite developed in the Italian Wikipedia. By the way, I remember watching an anime titled Hi Score Girl set in the 90s and while it primarily focused on fighting games, there was one episode where a random side character says "Yeah, that Asuka girl was amazing!". Meanwhile, Judgment became GA while I might nominate the second Danganronpa game as well as To your Eternity manga after they are copyedited. Happy editing.Tintor2 (talk) 00:20, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Long time no see[edit]

It took a while but Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair became GA. Megumi Ogata voices two really similar characters in such game but it was "a pure coincidence" as the writer created the character Nagito Komaeda just to make gamers think he is Makoto Naegi due to their similarities but kinda insane differences as it appears that Nagito is mentally unstable but in the form of black comedy. I might nominate To Your Eternity rather than Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony as the former has been edited more two other copyeditors. I noticed in the guild none of those Rei articles haven't been copyedited either but it seems it's close. I've also been considering Akudama Drive (which has the same writer as the Danganronpa games and the other anime End of Hope's Peak Academy) but I kinda wonder if its episode list should be moved or it should stay since I never touch such a small series. You planning to keep creating more episodes of Evangelion? Anyway, hope you keep having fun editing. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 21:00, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for bothering but there is something but after creating an article for Courier (Akudama Drive) I noticed there wasn't too much creation in contrast to Swindler (Akudama Drive). I kept asking in reddit for possible influences (kinda like the character's actions being based on Jean Reno in Leon: The Professional) and a fellow user told me to find for one of the Akudama Drive booklets. I ended in this site but I have no idea where could I find such stuff. In regards to Courier, apparently it is the first booklet that has information about his creation but I'm completely lost if that site actually has it. Your GA nomination of Rei I[edit]

The article Rei I you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Rei I for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility.
