Chart addition to WikiProject Katy Perry

[edit]

Hey, is it fine if we add the chart peak for Radio Songs and Digital Songs charts into the chart lists? I don't see them in the pages and wonder why. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shihao92 (talkcontribs) 02:58, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Part of Me (Katy Perry song)

[edit]

You are very welcome - glad to know my peer review comments on Part of Me (Katy Perry song) were useful. I realized the other day I actually have heard this song on the radio. It's got a beat and you can dance to it ;-) Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:50, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

FA

[edit]

Hey! Don't feel too bummed about not getting the FA, I know plenty of Wikipedias finest members who find them impossibly high to achieve and instead focus on GA's. So don't stress about it and keep on doing a great job!--(CA)Giacobbe (talk) 23:39, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Help Survey

[edit]

Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.

Thank you for your time,

Hi. When you recently edited Part of Me (Katy Perry song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chorus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm Status. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Katy Perry without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Statυs (talk) 04:52, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:A screenshot of the We Are Young music video.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:A screenshot of the We Are Young music video.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 05:07, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have added your name to the above page due to lack of activity since August 2013. Remember to remove yourself from the list of you ever return. I noticed you were a frequent editor to Katy Perry-related articles and original founder of her WikiProject. Even if you never read this, I'd like to thank you for creating the project, and I got her main article to FA last August after bringing it to GA last June. I also got E.T. to GA along with (CA)Giacobbe in April 2014, and hope to bring the project more FA's and GA's. Regards, Snuggums (talk / edits) 23:18, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 08:45, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity

[edit]

Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
