If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Gary Canning, you may be blocked from editing. We do not need to include every single relative going. Please read WP:SOAPS to see what relatives should be included. 5 albert square (talk) 00:45, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

[edit]

Hey! I have been looking at your page and it looks really good so far! I made a few tweaks but I wanted to ask before I change anything more. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 01:49, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, first thing – since the family was only introduced once, they don't need the (2008) next to the introducer :) DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 01:50, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DaniloDaysOfOurLives: Hi! Alright, thank you! And yes, of course, please change anything to make it improved! Thank you so much! I also figured out a few things, so the page should be ready soon hopefully! Please let me know when you think the page can get the all-clear to be released! - Therealscorp1an (talk) 01:52, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DaniloDaysOfOurLives: Do you think I should release it? - Therealscorp1an (talk) 02:09, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hey!! I was looking at it and I think it is really good!! however, I have some suggestions for it. Are you able to email me ? DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 02:10, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sadly not. You can just say it here, I don't mind. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 02:12, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So a few suggestions : 1.) A storylines section for the whole family? 2.) With the sections related to the characters – will this clash with their own pages? I am fine with it but just a thought 3.) Possibly more reception? 4.) I think that the non cannon family members should still be included, but with notes explaining that it is not sure whether it is part of cannon. 5.) Any pictures at all? DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 02:19, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I didn't explain well – for Levi Canning, for example, who doesn't have their own page – perhaps on the "characters introduced in 20xx" we could do "Main article:" and redirect to this page and their section? DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 02:22, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Alright! The reception thing may be hard to do, but I think a storylines section would be good (but in there, I'd only include storylines relating to the storylines itself)! And for Levi, Dane and Harley, I could link it to a "main article" or I could just put their storylines in the "Storylines" section I mentioned. What do you think? - Therealscorp1an (talk) 02:27, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DaniloDaysOfOurLives: Hi, I've updated the draft. What do you think? - Therealscorp1an (talk) 05:17, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I was looking at it earlier – I think it is really really good! You should be so proud of yourself – well done ! I think it is ready to be published. Is there anything I can do? DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 05:32, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I forgot to say – regarding the pigeons – maybe you could include them in the Sheila section too? DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 05:33, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! What do you mean by "Sheila section"? - Therealscorp1an (talk) 08:49, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In the storylines section or family members section? Just an idea, not essential DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 17:35, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, yes, I've done that. Do you reckon it's ready to be released? - Therealscorp1an (talk) 22:12, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes!! 100% – well done! Could we have a picture of the family though? DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 22:19, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, yeah. Is it okay if you try to do that? (Sorry, I'm not very good with pictures on Wikipedia 😬) - Therealscorp1an (talk) 22:30, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm very sorry – I don't know how to do it either...it's okay, we will do it later down the line DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 22:33, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Alright! Okay, now time to publish it... - Therealscorp1an (talk) 22:34, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Neighbours characters (2021), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chloe Brennan. Re:Neighbours characters

[edit]

Hiya, so the character has directly left Erinsborough on-screen now, albeit in a slightly weird way - on 6 September she declared her intention to leave, then on the 7th was off-screen packing at the start of the episode and then mentioned as having departed later on without appearing again! This is backed up by her initial casting announcement, which describes the stint as around two weeks long [1], i.e. unless we hear otherwise in the future her time on the show is ended. Re:Storm

[edit]

I'd happy to lend a hand when I can - certainly it's easier to do these things at the time, I really wanted to have a go at a 2016 hotel death trap storyline article a while back but the task was just too overwhelming five years down the line... maybe one day. I have a suspicion promo material is going to all but give away the death in the next week, so I'm not paying too much attention to releases currently, but once it's aired I should be able to help out. Are you watching at UK pace? U-Mos (talk) 21:57, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@U-Mos: Sadly, no. Very upset at 10 Peach ath the moment. Also, if you need a hand with the hotel death trap storyline, I would also be happy to help. I know a few other editors, like JuneGloom07, are also having a go at that storyline. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 21:59, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
All I can think of is Channel 5 negotiated for the upcoming London episodes to be UK-first, and the episodes per week will switch over after that until the two countries align again... madness either way! U-Mos (talk) 22:29, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you missed my edit summaries (or were ignoring them), the infobox in Zara's section was hidden because it was causing a lot of whitespace, which isn't ideal. It was also running into the next section because of the small amount of prose, but I've fixed that issue now. There's no harm in waiting to show an infobox and you never know, it might encourage expansion of the section. - JuneGloom07 Talk 19:01, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @JuneGloom07: I did not ignore your edit summaries, in fact I made a few edits and kept the infobox commented out. The only reason I re-added it in my previous edit is because I thought the prose was expanded enough and not creating any white space. Kind regards, Therealscorp1an (talk) 20:57, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Original research

[edit]

Hello there. I noticed you added the claim "Overtime, the Robinson lineage has slowly expanded, with the soap opera particularly focusing on the descendants of Paul" to Robinson family. You did not actually add sourced information to support this to the article itself. Therefore adding such a statement is original research. Please find sources to support your claims before adding back.Rain the 1 22:58, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Raintheone: I have realised after the fact that the "particularly focusing on the descendants of Paul" part is WP:OR. Also, I plan on working to update the article in the future to get it updated. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 23:40, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Cathedral.Sts.Constantine.Helene.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Cathedral.Sts.Constantine.Helene.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 12:33, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Whpq: Hello, thank you for the message. This was my first time uploading a file, so it was always going to be a long shot, as I did not really know what I was doing. How would I go about keeping the image on Wikipedia? Sorry, I think I just need the extra clarification. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 12:56, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is a free content encyclopedia. non-free content such as the image you uploaded must meet all of the non-free content criteria. As an existing cathedral, a free image of it could be made even if one currently does not exist. As such, the non-free image is replaceable with a free one and so WP:NFCC#1 is not met. There is no way to keep this image. Whpq (talk) 13:20, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Whpq: So, essentially, I would have to get my own image? What if I get permission to use that image and how do I prove I have gotten permission? - Therealscorp1an (talk) 21:24, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Whpq (talk) 01:55, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"< b / r >" and "< br >"

[edit]

Hey! I hope you are well 😊 Since you are very good at making articles, I just wanted to bring this to your attention: I tend to use "< br >" rather than "< b / r >" (I am spacing them out as otherwise it will hide them and create breaks instead!) as it means that there are less bytes in the article and means that article can load quicker and easier, and it's also much cleaner 😊😊 I wanted to let you know to help you out as I know you make a lot of amazing articles 😊

Yes, I have noticed and thank you for updating all the articles so there are less bytes. I will try to use the first one in future, I am just too used to the latter! - Therealscorp1an (talk) 22:59, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also I am really sorry to hear about the Tim article. I really liked it and I think you shouldn't give up – maybe when the show ends he will get more coverage in books celebrating the show etc and in interviews, documentaries etc. If not, maybe you could expand the 2001 article or make an article like "List of notable recurring Neighbours characters" or something? Or a Wikiprojects perhaps? 😊😊 Don't give up on your hard work!

DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk)

All good, I understand why it needed to go, it would have been better if there was more coverage though. Oh, well. And thank you for the compliments! - Therealscorp1an (talk) 22:59, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Whpq: Hello, this happened last time. How can I avoid it? This is an image I have personally taken and I thought it would avoid the first criterion as it is a real life monument which I personally photographed. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 00:34, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You iploaded the imagecas nonfree. Whpq (talk) 03:00, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Whpq: But how did I do that and how do I avoid it? I am sorry, but I have read through all the guide articles and criterion and still do not understand how to avoid it. Every time I have asked for some help, I have been redirected to a complicated page, so could you please explain how to upload an image that I have photographed and make it free? - Therealscorp1an (talk) 03:09, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to release the image under a free license, the preferred location is Commons. Choose "upload file" from the site menu. That will lead you to the upload wizard. Follow the prompts. One of the choices you will have to make is a license. CC-BY-SA 4.0 is the preferred license for images. Whpq (talk) 02:36, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Other characters of note

[edit]

Good work on what you’ve achieved but you should try pages for Nicolette, Freya, Zara, Mackenzie & Kiri 2A02:C7E:332F:6800:41E7:DC67:4111:C7A4 (talk) 10:57, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I know there is a certain editor working on an article for Nicolette and one for Mackenzie will most likely be made in the near future. I am just worried there is not enough real-world perspective information for Freya, Kiri and Zara. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 11:06, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Freya has the whole Gareth, blackmail and Levi storyline that could help. Kiri has the whole Glen, Nicolette and Chloe storyline and Zara has the feud with Jane, the fire and her mum with two guys storylines which would help for articles. There is characters of less note with their own articles within Neighbours Gemma Reeves, Andrea Somers for instance. 82.132.246.104 (talk) 11:48, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but what they lack (maybe not so much with Freya, though) is the real-world information and not just the in-universe information. That's the interviews for every storyline, casting details, producer messages and reception. Andrea, for example, did have those things (mainly because it was Madeleine West returning to the serial). - Therealscorp1an (talk) 12:21, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Plot sections

[edit]

I have removed the plot section you added to Naomi Canning. It did not have a one previously and it is a fully sourced article. Plot sections are fan trivia and do not help the general readers understanding of the subject. The fully sourced development sections do that job.Rain the 1 20:40, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the one from Hendrix Greyson too. I know it must have taken ages and was done in good faith. But please refrain from adding more? Pretty please lolRain the 1 21:04, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It did take quite a while: over a month of watching every single episode of Neighbours from 2014 to 2015, but I understand. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 03:12, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you and I know. Aside from that you have been busy creating new content more recently. What is next on your list?Rain the 1 16:02, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Honestly, no idea. There are a few articles I want to expand/create that are disambiguated from Neighbours. I would really like to create some more Neighbours articles, but I'm worried we're running out of material. I looked around for some sources for the 2016 hotel explosion, but there's not really much I could find (finding enough sources for the Erinsborough High fire was a fluke!). What about you? Anything on the radar after completing the article for Nicolette? - Therealscorp1an (talk) 21:22, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ah okay then. I do have Nicolette to complete but I got a little bored of creating new character articles for recent characters. Like you say though, Neighbours has nearly everything near complete. I might just keep adding to old articles or finish a sandbox because I sure do have a few of those! lolRain the 1 20:22, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Em v en dashes

[edit]

Hi Therealscorp1an. I noticed your recent edit at Battle of Brisbane—you changed the hyphens in the titles of 'First night' and 'Second night' to en dashes. I am just wondering why you didn't change them to em dashes rather? I have checked MOS:DASH, and perhaps I am missing something about the use in sub-headings, but it seems that em dashes should be used there. Looking forward to your response. Compusolus (talk) 04:28, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, my mistake. Em dashes would be the preferred dash. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 05:31, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Comments on Lesvos edits

[edit]

Putting more info in the footnote was a great idea, great for clarification - but my original edit was because "Lesbos or Lesvos" isn't clear. You pretty much just worked your way around reverting my edit directly. Amyipdev (talk) 02:13, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I just feel that the gap between "Lesbos" and "Lesvos" in the lead is way too big and with all the information in the footnotes, the extra commas and the long notes in the many brackets still makes the lead way too confusing. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 05:32, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have to disagree, and either way, "or" is NOT the correct way to solve this. "Lesbos or Lesvos" doesn't make grammatical or logical sense unless you already know it's a transliteration clarification. Amyipdev (talk) 14:58, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Amyipdev: the correct place to resolve content disputes is the article's talk page, not talk pages of individual users. So I won't continue here further.
Anyway, I made significant edits to the lead and the #Etymology section of the article, which hopefully make your concerns moot. I happen to agree with Therealscorp1an that it is entirely unnecessary to cram the "transliteration clarification" into the very first sentence since it's 1) mostly irrelevant and 2) pretty obvious – many foreign names have multiple English renderings, and that would hardly confuse anyone. Years for family

[edit]

Hey, I hope you are having a lovely day. I wanted to let you know that I removed the years from Beth Brennan's family duration as:

1.) It is not confirmed when she stopped being married to Brad (as the marriage bit does not have the year she got divorced)

2.) It is a bit cluttering and not useful

3.) Just because a couple divorce does not mean that they stop being part of a family. Durations are used for something technically - e.g. the years a couple were married or the years the character/actor appeared in. Just because Beth got divorced does not mean that she automatically stopped being part of the family. This is true of other divorced soap women. For example, Lisa Dingle was still very much considered part of the Dingle family when divorced from Zach, whilst Maggie Horton acts as the head of the Horton family despite being remarried and her Horton husband having died back in 2010, and Sonia Fowler's common name is still Fowler despite her having been divorced for 7+ years from him. The "family" section is just meant to be helpful to let the readers know what families the characters belong in so that they can learn more about the storylines/development/connections etc.

4.) It is inconsistent with other soap articles (e.g. Ronnie Mitchell, Sonia Fowler, Roxy Slater, Susan Kennedy etc.

5.) I think it can be confusing for readers as it could suggest that she legally cut ties with the family or something as it is inconsistent with other soap characters and her marriage duration

I hope this makes sense! Have a lovely weekend! DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 05:40, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine

[edit]

I noticed that you edited the first sentence of the page 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine to 'commenced an invasion' rather than 'invaded'. I disagree with the edit, for it does not read as well, and moreover there was nothing wrong with 'invaded'. An invasion isn't exclusively invading and occupying the entire territory; note definitions online:

  • (of an armed force) enter (a country or region) so as to subjugate or occupy it.
  • to enter for conquest or plunder

etc. And thus 'invaded' means to enter, not necessarily to occupy the entire territory. Compusolus (talk) 09:01, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Understandable. I just thought it would be clearer for people who are not as knowledgeable on the linguistic specifics. However, I might add that it is curious how you seem to follow me from edit to edit... - Therealscorp1an (talk) 09:22, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Very good. I don't think it is curious as at all—2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine has long been on my watchlist, as is the previous page that I commented on on this talk page with respects—Battle of Brisbane. Compusolus (talk) 11:35, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Constantine II of Greece shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. DrKay (talk) 18:55, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You have been involved as much as me. I even explained my changed and you continuously avoid explanations. Not much more I can do... - Therealscorp1an (talk) 21:03, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Therealscorp1an,

Please do not manually add your nominations to the WP:GAN page. Once the talk page of an article has the GAN template, the bot will automatically take care of it. Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 09:08, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, alright. Thank you for letting me know. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 09:13, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Speaking of your GANs, I was looking at the page stats for Constantine II of Greece and I see that you have less than 3% authorship of the page. Are you sure you have sufficient familiarity with the article to be an appropriate nominator? Per the Good Article instructions, nominators must have contributed significantly to articles before nominating them, and I doubt I'd be alone in questioning whether 3% authorship is close to enough. ♠PMC(talk) 02:05, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, it would be nice if you clarified what you were talking about instead of leaving some vague message on my talk page with zero context. Second of all, after looking around, I see you are regarding my Neighbours edits, changing "Former; regular (returning)" to "Present; regular". Show some respect for the will of the Greek people

[edit]

Greek people expressed their will through a plebiscite and got rid of the royals. Why can't you accept that? Why do you support the deposed royals' agenta? 141.237.5.73 (talk) 23:01, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am not taking a political standing in my edits. It is just known that Pavlos does not use a last name. That's not a personal choice, that is by law. His passport does not have a last name on it. He is not a Greek citizen either. All of this is explained in his article and in his father's article. Please refrain from these edits or you will be warned and could possibly blocked from editing. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 23:24, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Small aspects in sections meant to provide general information about the topic

[edit]

It is not possible to edit Greeks, i think it is locked. Can you please remove this new material added in Greeks#Diaspora: "The American Hellenic Council's Census 2020 Initiative encourages the Greek American diaspora to identify as Greek when asked about their ethnic origins. Identifying as Greek in the US Census will result in funds being invested to support services in the Greek American community, including funding for Greek education, including Greek language programs and services for government-run programs, as well as funding to support Medicare, aged care, Section 8 housing, and many other services.[190]" It is a small aspect of the general Greek diaspora topic, and already takes 1/3 of the section. It should be moved to Greek_Americans#21st_century. Also, in Greeks#Modern_2 there is: "According to data published by the Federal Statistical Office of Germany in 2011, 23,800 Greeks emigrated to Germany, a significant increase over the previous year. By comparison, about 9,000 Greeks emigrated to Germany in 2009 and 12,000 in 2010.[199][200]" This should be removed, and be moved to Greeks_in_Germany#Demographics. 37.6.166.57 (talk) 11:19, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for bringing this to my attention. It'd be best, however, to bring this discussion up at the actual talk page so we can gain the opinion on other editors first. Thanks. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 11:27, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Using the title "King" or "Queen"

[edit]

I saw that you removed the title King or Queen from the names of some Danish and Greek monarchs after I added it. Are you sure that it is a rule not to include their title before their name? I have seen it used to describe monarchs such as Elizabeth II, Margrethe II and Felipe VI, to give an example. Векочел (talk) 21:36, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Векочел: It's not a "rule set in stone", but I do know that some editors prefer to exclude "King" and "Queen" before their name and instead just add "of country" afterwards. Although in some rare cases, articles may have their titles in front of their names, they usually exclude it. I think the main reason for it is that in monarchs' articles, they usually just refer to them as their first name, so they try to do that for other monarchical names that are mentioned (and linked) within the article. I'm really not too fussed, like I don't want to edit war or anything over anything like this, but yeah, I just reverted it because excluding the title just seems to be the general standard thing on Wikipedia articles. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 22:30, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Neighbours

[edit]

Hey. Would it be better to create this Neighbours episode article in your draft space? It would be a simple move over to the main space. I have never used that tool.Rain the 1 20:34, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Raintheone: Hi. Do you think so? Episode 8904 was done through the draftspace and I started this one so editors could collaborate on it and so no one would already start the article themself. Do you think I should edit it on my own draft space instead? - Therealscorp1an (talk) 21:35, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed that you continued to work on it there. You seem fine editing it alone. I am just not a fan of the AFC process. The template for source no7 is missing Digital Spy. I would suggest try not to have an over reliance on Digital Spy since it is currently used solely for all the content currently added. Where did you get the spelling of Christa Sinclair? I noticed you added it to the 2023 list and this draft. I presumed it was Krista - Radio Times and Inside Soap spell it as Krista.Rain the 1 23:15, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, User:Raintheone. So do you reckon I should move it to be own sandbox and do it there? And yes, don't worry, I've been very weary of all the Digital Spy references and have been trying to find other ones too. Thanks for pointing out the reference error. And as for Christa, I just assumed the spelling, but it could be Krista. We could change it if you really want or just wait until after she's appeared, but I'm not fussed either way. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 23:25, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I only asked since I was going to add information about her to Eden using an Inside Soap source. I will change to Krista since the source states that. We can always revert back to Christa next week if she is credited as such. You already started the article at AFC. In future if you believe you can create an article just do it. By its own admission, AFC is designed for "editors who do not yet have sufficient editing experience."Rain the 1 23:39, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sam and Sadie

[edit]

Hey! I was thinking of starting an article for Sam Young. This wouldn't be published until early 2024 (as whilst she has had a lot of coverage, she hasn't had too many storylines yet), but I wanted to get it started sometime in the next few days. However, I wanted to check with you and a few other people first, as I'd hate to get started on it and have to abandon it or to tread on your toes. I also wanted to start one for Sadie too, so please let me know. Have a lovely day 😊 DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 07:46, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@DaniloDaysOfOurLives: Hi! Thanks so much for thinking of me as one of the editors to come to! I think articles for each would be great (I'm currently writing one for Byron) and I'm happy to help you in your sandbox on anything you need me to (maybe reception for Sam?). In my personal opinion, I think Sam would be easier to create an article for due to the media coverage, however I think creating articles for both characters would be fine because we know, by nature of soap operas, that they will eventually inherit new storylines and there will be more coverage that will allow us to expand their articles, but there might be some other editors who disagree. But it's a strong go for it and happy to help from me! - Therealscorp1an (talk) 10:09, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much! I agree about Sam being easier than Sadie. I think I am okay with the help (I am not good with collabs at the moment as my schedule is too unpredictable) but I really appreciate it, thank you! I just wanted to check first in case, because otherwise if we both started articles for them then we'd have to abandon one and that would be awful. Good luck with Byron btw! I'll keep an eye out for sources for him. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 16:43, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@DaniloDaysOfOurLives: Alright, thanks. I'll keep a look out for sources on Sam too (I assume you'll be doing her first?). I'll just leave any on your talk page. - Therealscorp1an (talk) 21:34, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Vittorio Emanuele, Prince of Naples funeral

[edit]

Typically, such bulleted lists of attendees of funerals, weddings, coronations, etc. go on separate dedicated pages for the events themselves, not the pages for the individuals they concern, so I'm not sure if this is allowed for a section of his page, given Wikipedia:UNDUE concerns. 2601:249:9301:D570:928:1581:7D4F:E386 (talk) 20:08, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
