It is generally accepted procedure to explain why a Prod tag has been removed from a page. Can you please explain on the article's talk page why you removed the Prod tag from this article. Thanks... ttonyb1 (talk) 16:46, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- Notability is claimed in the article. It says that "Jon Kauffman has written and directed five short films, one of which, A Fragrance of Night, won the “Best Undergraduate Drama” award at the Ivy Film Festival". External references can be found.
- Please point me to the references. I looked last week and was unable to find references to award associated to the individual. I'll added th reference to the article to avoid someone AfDing it ttonyb1 (talk) 17:47, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

- Based on the claims made in the article he is de facto notable per WP:CREATIVE. This is evidenced by the claims made in the article that the artist has won many awards, and that his art is displayed in many galleries and exhibitions.
