Ute Steppin (born (1965-05-31)31 May 1965) was a German female volleyball player.

She was part of the East Germany women's national volleyball team at the 1988 Summer Olympics,[1] and of the Germany women's national volleyball team at the 1996 Summer Olympics. She participated in the 1994 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship.[2] On club level she played with Schweriner SC.
