Faron Young (25 de febrero de 1932 - 10 de diciembre de 1996) fue un cantante y compositor estadounidense de country entre los primeros años de la década de 1950 hasta mediados de los 80 y uno de sus estrellas más coloridas.
Sus éxitos incluyen "If You Ain't Lovin' (You Ain't Livin')" o "Live Fast, Love Hard, Die Young" que le marcaron como cantante honky tonk tanto en sonido como en estilo personal, y "Hello Walls" o "It's Four in the Morning" que mostraron su versatilidad como vocalista. Conocido como Hillbilly Heartthrob, y como el Sheriff cantante en sus papeles en películas. Se suicidó en 1996 y es miembro del Country Music Hall of Fame.
