June Collyer

June Collyer, nome d'arte di Dorothea Heermance (New York City, 19 agosto 1906 – Los Angeles, 16 marzo 1968), è stata un'attrice statunitense.

Dorothea Heermance scelse il cognome della madre quando si dedicò alla recitazione. Scoperta dal regista Allan Dwan, esordì al cinema nel 1927 con East Side, West Side, e l'anno dopo fu selezionata tra le tredici WAMPAS Baby Stars. Interpretò più di trenta film con ruoli di protagonista fino a A Face in the Fog, del 1936. Negli anni Cinquanta prese parte a due serie televisive.

Fu sposata con l'attore Stuart Erwin ed ebbe due figli. Morì a Los Angeles, di polmonite, il 16 marzo 1968^[1] all'età di 61 anni, e le sue ceneri furono inumate nella Chapel of the Pines Crematory.
