アン・フィリップス（英 Anne Phillips、1950年6月2日-[1]）は、ロンドン・スクール・オブ・エコノミクス（LSE）の名誉教授。かつては同大学にて政治学のGraham Wallas Professorの地位にあった。フィリップスは2003年、イギリス学士院のフェローに選ばれた。

経歴

アン・フィリップスは1999年、ジェンダー理論の教授としてLSEに加わり、2004年9月までジェンダー研究所の所長を務めた後、ジェンダー研究所と行政学（Department of Government）のジョイント・アポイントメントになった。フィリップスはフェミニスト政治理論の第一人者であり、民主主義と代表、平等、多文化主義、差異などの問題について筆を執っている。その著作は主に、現代のリベラリズムの理論の偏狭さに異議を唱えるものとして読むことができる。

1992年、フィリップスは前年に出版された著作『Engendering Democracy』によって、アメリカ政治学会のヴィクトリア・シュック賞の受賞者の一人となった。1999年にはオールボー大学から名誉博士号を授与され、2002年から2006年までオーストラリア国立大学社会科学研究学院政治学プログラムの非常勤教授に任命された。

研究計画

2002年から2004年にかけて、フィリップスはナフィールド財団（英語: Nuffield Foundation）の資金援助を受けて、英国の裁判所における性的平等と文化的平等の間の緊張に関する研究プロジェクトを実施した。[2]

フィリップスはその後、同じくナフィールド財団の支援を受け、アムステルダム自由大学のSawitri Saharsoと共同で、ヨーロッパ特有の文脈におけるジェンダーと文化の問題の研究に取り組んだ。この共同研究には2005年のロンドンと2006年のアムステルダムの2つの会議が含まれ、Ethnicities誌（2008年）の特別号につながった。[3]
