Area code 575 - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Area code 575 is a telephone area code in the state of New Mexico, United States. It covers the entire state, excluding the northwest corner and the Albuquerque metropolitan area, which is served by area code 505. It was created on October 7, 2007, as a split to area code 505. This marked the last time any new area code was split. All future area codes from that point on would only be overlays.
