Goes, Zeelandic: Goes or Hoes, is a municipality and town on the former island of Zuid-Beveland, Province of Zeeland, the Netherlands.
About 37,000 people were living in the municipality in 2017.
About 27,000 people were living in the town in 2010.
There are a lot of villages is the municipality like: Kattendijke, Kloetinge, 's-Heer Hendrikskinderen, 's-Heer Arendskerke/Eindewege, Wilhelminadorp and Wolphaartsdijk/Oud-Sabbinge. There are also some districts like Blauwewijk, Goese Sas, Monnikendijk and Roodewijk[1]
Goes has had city rights since 1405.
