Kotohira (琴平町, Kotohira-chō) is a Japanese town in Kagawa Prefecture on the island of Shikoku.^[1]

History

Kotohira grew up around the Kotohira Shrine.^[1]

Kanamaru-za in Kotohira is Japan's oldest surviving Kabuki playhouse.^[2]
