Mary Wells - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mary Esther Wells (May 13, 1943 – July 26, 1992) was an American singer-songwriter. She was born in Detroit, Michigan. Wells was known for a number of songs. The songs include "My Guy" (1964) and "The One Who Really Loves You." She sang with The Supremes, Martha Reeves and many others in the music business.
There was one song for which Wells was nominated for Grammy Awards.
Wells died in Los Angeles, California following a diagnosis of larynx cancer two years before. She died at age 49. The cancer might have been caused by heavy smoking.[1]
