Sahaba - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sahaba or As-Sahaba (Arabic: الصحابة), meaning the companions, refers to the companions, friends and family of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad.[1][2] They are highly respected by Muslims and after saying any name of a sahabi, muslims usually say Radhiya llahu anhu (Arabic: رضي الله عنه‎), which means "May God be pleased with them".[3]
