The Fantastic Four: First Steps is an upcoming superhero movie based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Fantastic Four. It will be the 37th movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the second to be set outside of the franchise's main timeline, after Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). It is also the fourth movie to be released based on the Fantastic Four, after 2005's Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel and the 2015 reboot. Two of the team's members' variants have previously appeared in the MCU. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach star as the Fantastic Four, while Shalla-Bal / Silver Surfer, Galactus, and Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom will also appear, played by Julia Garner, Ralph Ineson, and Robert Downey Jr.,[a] respectively. The movie will be released on July 25, 2025 as part of the MCU's Phase Six.[1]
