Below is a shoutbox where smaller comments and rapid notifications are posted. Comments here are erased within some time (perhaps a day or a week), this useful tool avoids the over-flooding in talk pages and makes ease coordinations. You are more than welcome to add a shoutbox to your self by putting: {{subst:Shoutbox}} in the top of your talk page. It's suposed to be in the talk page, so the user receive inmediate notification of a new message.
I don't think everyone hates you! On the contrary, I see that you've made some mistakes. But I also see that you've learned from them, and it looks like you're willing to learn even more. That, I think, is a really admirable trait. You've made some friends on Wikipedia, and if you start looking for them, I'm sure you'll find them everywhere. If you go to User:Damërung/Secret, there is a list of people who found my secret page (just to mention it), and about a clue... Well: "The link to the secret page is as obvious as hidden"
Hello, BigPadresDUDE. You have new messages at Damërung's talk page. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
and by the way, a small comment like that last one could be better fitted in the shoutbox rather than the talk page (just an observation). - ☩Damërung☩. -- 23:14, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Your new shoutbox was delivered successfully to your userpage. Thanks for purchasing at my store and feel free to ask me for any adjustments (and to tell others, lol).

Posting notes:
For the sake of keeping discussions together, unless you request otherwise, I will reply to your posts here and will also watch pages where I have posted myself and expect replies there.
Keep content disputes off here. They belong to relevant articles' talk pages.
If you've come here to sway me to a discussion/AfD on an article I have merely reverted or did other minor edit to, I'm most probably not interested. Such requests will be deleted immediately, or at best ignored. Similar requests by email will end up in the trash can.
Don't revert edits to this talk page, unless they're obvious vandalism like blanking/malicious editing of other's comments etc. I'll deal with stupid/hate/spam messages myself.

Hello BigPadresDUDE, I am going to revert your edits which unredirected Brooke Logan and Donna Logan from the page that they belong at. When Logan family was up for deletion, most of the keep "votes" suggested it was a good place to merge character articles that could not stand on their own. That's why I went through all the articles for the characters related to that family, looked them over and saw that not one of them contained anything with real world relevance (no Impact, Reception, Casting, Writing sections), then boldly redirected those articles to Logan family. I felt and still feel that the move was for the betterment of the soap opera articles in general. We soap opera editors already have a bad reputation here on Wikipedia, articles like the ones I redirected just compound that with their overly long plot summaries that are written in the past tense and with inuniverse perspective. All of the character's important storyline information (who their family is, who they marry, who they have children with, who their children are) is already mentioned in the Logan family, but the article has the benefit of not containing an overly long and detailed plot summary. To me, they were a perfect fit there and they can always be un-redirected when someone wants to expand the article.
I hope you are going to expand these articles, but I am going to redirect them until they are restored with notability. See you around. Rocksey (talk) 04:42, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know you've had a number of people jump on you about the edits for the SF/NY Giants. Given what was happening there, I had a look at your other contributions, and it looks to me like you're doing the same sort of thing all over the place. Maybe not every article, but a lot of them are looked after by different projects, like WP:BASEBALL for the Giants, Pete Rose - two you've tried to work on. I know you've said in some of the talk pages that you've looked at what others have said and tried to follow it, but its hard to accept that when there's been as much discussion as there has about the types of edits you've made. Fair enough, the Giants one may not have ben easy to spot if you didn't know about the WP:BASEBALL, but the Pete Rose one had an ongoing discussion about the exact change you made on the corresponding talk page, as well as in WP:BASEBALL.
I've got a couple of suggestions that will help make it easier for you, and less likely to have people angry at you:
When you're writing on a talk page about anything, try to use the same spelling and punctuation that you would if you were writing the text of an article. (The odd mistake's fine, but it should be pretty close.) Writing in "ALL CAPS" is considered shouting, and fairly rude. Writing a paragraph worth of text all in lower case (with the exception of "shouting") and no periods or commas to break it up makes it difficult for others to read, and there's probably a tendancy for people trying to read it to either misunderstand you because they couldn't follow what you wrote properly, ignore what you wrote because it looked too hard to follow, make them think you're not very intelligent and assume you've got nothing useful to say, or some combination of all three. If you want to highlight a bit of text (use it wisely) you can make things bold by surrounding it with three apostraphes like this, italics with two apostraphes like this, or both with five like this.
Check the talk page of an article before you make any edits, to see if what you want to add or change has already been discussed. (If an article is looked after by a project, it'll usually have a banner for the project on the talk page. It's a good idea to at least have a quick check with the project as well.) If there is a discussion about your changes and a particular option has been decided, make sure you follow what's been decided there, and don't make a change that will obviously make one side of the discussion unhappy if its still being worked out. If you don't agree with what's been decided, feel free to voice your opinion, and see if you can change people's minds, but do it respectfully and without making the argument personal.
If there are topics you're interested in or think you can contribute to - I'm guessing baseball would be one - find the projects that match and join up with them. It'll help to give you an idea of what's expected for certain types of articles, and will help you to find some examples of articles on that topic that have been rated as being of good quality so you've got some ideas of what to work towards. (In case you're not aware yet, "Featured Article" is the top ranking, with "Good Article" sometimes considered to be a step or two away from being made a Featured Article.)
Just because someone makes an edit to article that you don't agree with, doesn't automatically mean you should use the undo function. That's generally when someone's vandalised a page, or if someone's made changes that clearly go against a consensus that's been agreed to. If someone's undone one of your edits, and it doesn't have an explanation for why, ask them on their talk page or the article's, don't just redo the change or undo their undo. If you think someone else's changes should be undone, make sure you explain why in the edit summary, and leave a message on a talk page (the article's or their's) pointing to where the consensus was decided for the person to see for themselves. With the exception of people who have fun messing up articles by vandalising them, we're all here to help out: we just have different ideas as to how to achieve the end result - that's why you'll see references to "assume good faith": assume the other person's trying to help.
In the case of The Hart Dynasty, when there's already info on here - either in a standalone article or as a section of another article - don't just copy it to somewhere else to create a new article. It's best in that case to expand on what's already there. If it gets to the point where an article gets too big, the section can be broken out into its own article, leaving a summary of the content behind in the old article, along with a links going between the two articles. An example from what I've been working on is Australia national baseball team, and splitting out the info from the Olympic Games and World Cup sections into Australia national baseball team at the Summer Olympics and Australia at the Baseball World Cup. Having said that, don't follow that example exactly, because all three articles are still works in progress, but it should help give you an idea about how its supposed to be done.
Hopefully I don't sound like too much of a nag or boring old fart, and hopefully I haven't scared you off from participating on here. Anyone who's willing to help out is always welcome in my opinion. New people joining are going to tend to make mistakes and step on people's toes without realising it. As long as you're willing to listen to advice, and to learn from the mistakes you make, you shouldn't have too much in the way of problems here. Afaber012 (talk) 07:07, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, The logo of the Padres is a copyrighted image and thus falls under WP:FAIRUSE, these images can only be used with fair use rationales in certain articles. For the template you wish to use it with you need to use an image that is free to use in any article, like the image File:Petco_Park_Interior.JPG. I'm not good with copyright law and such, so if you have any more concerns I'd suggest you leave a message on WT:BASEBALL and someone else with more experience in the area will be able to answer the question better. While I am a New York Yankees fan first and foremost, I do enjoy the San Diego Padres (and really enjoyed their run to the '98 WS (Ken Caminiti was my fav RIP) before they went against my Yanks of course) and love a good casual project so I am here to help if I can! You can e-mail me at [email protected] if you have any questions about the Padres project or general Wikipedia questions as I have been doing this for a few years. -Phil5329 (talk) 03:00, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hate to be a nag, but your formatting is a bit lazy as well. As the name of a series, "General Hospital" should have been italicized in this edit. You should also use sentence case (capitalizing the first letter of a sentence or phrase and any proper nouns, not every word) most of the time in all areas of Wikipedia, including headings and infoboxes, unlike you did here with "Dissolved by Death" and "Smashed Over The Head With A Bookend" (LOL). It's probably too much to as for you to actual refer to WP:MOS, but you've been very active and have clearly edited enough articles to have seen these sorts of things elsewhere by now.— TAnthonyTalk03:46, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Your recent addition to Gigi Morasco has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Your addition of text from http://www.soapcentral.com/oltl/whoswho/gigi.php to this article is inappropriate, you must write all content you add yourself, and/or cite your sources. — TAnthonyTalk05:31, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Gigi Morasco. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. — TAnthonyTalk04:43, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that you got two warnings for edit warring in a 24 hour period (or so), and just wanted to make sure you understood the guidelines. I'm not interested in baseball to much, but thanks for asking. :-) Killiondude (talk) 05:39, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Nikem.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? feydey (talk) 08:34, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I saw your query on Rocksey's talk page not too long ago. I am going to tell you what she should have told you: You should not create this article, unless it passes WP:Notability. For a quick layout, Wikipedia:WikiProject Soap Operas clearly displays what is needed in order to create a soap opera couple article here. Though winning a major award alone would not be enough for notability. I will go further and say that you should also not create this article...unless it has good or decent grammar/spelling. You have spelling and grammar issues. Your version of this article in your workspace is not anywhere close to being acceptable for Wikipedia. Even the headings are wrongly formatted (seeing as you capitalize the beginning of each word in them). See Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Article titles, headings, and sections.
Late breaking news→Australia national baseball team has passed its GA review! Its the first fully baseball article for the task force to get there, and the only article about a national baseball team to achieve that status!

Recently a new barnstar has been created for WikiProject Baseball, as a substitute for the {{Running Man Barnstar}}: {{The Baseball Barnstar}}. This has given me an idea for the newsletter. If any task force member gives a barnstar to someone for any work that relates to Australian baseball, or if any member receives a barnstar for any work they do, let me know on my talk page. I'll check with the user to make sure they're happy to be listed here (because I know some people don't necessarily like that sort of attention) and assuming I get the green-light I'll put it in the next edition of the newsletter.

Check out that policy. Skye Chandler is best known as Skye Chandler, not as Skye Chandler Quartermaine. In addition, cut-and-paste moves, which is what you did in this case, should not be done. Why not? Because it takes away the article history.
This is quite possibly the most moved soap opera article on Wikipedia. The long standing consensus has been that the article should remain at Carly Corinthos. A long time abuser and banned editor who desperately wants to edit here despite getting regularly blocked loves to move that article. You'd be amazed at the number of new, male soap opera editors who love to move that article. Please leave it where it is. AniMatedraw03:27, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That was a really bad move on the Carly article. You moved it to Carly-Corinthos-Jacks. Please take a look at the archive at Talk:Carly_Corinthos/Archive_1. This has been discussed multiple times. Before moving at least initiate a talk page thread, and if you're going to go against consensus, don't do it with typos. AniMatedraw04:12, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Be aware of words to avoid. Certain words, if chosen poorly, can subtly promote a point of view.
Different images aren't the problem. The fact is these are all non-free images, and part of Wikipedia's mission is that we use non-free content as sparingly as possible. All non-free images need to pass all ten criteria of our non-free image policy, and these don't (especially criteria 3a and 8). Merely "wanting to know what something looks like" isn't enough, unfortunately. If a non-free image is critical for the reader to understand part of an article which cannot be explained sufficiently in text, then it may be appropriate, but use outside those criteria is not allowed. Thanks, Black Kite23:03, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
When titling sections we need to follow some basic rules. One is simpler is better. On Emily Quartermaine you changed Second Chances to The Begining and End Of Emily and Nikolas. That's way too long and detailed and not precisely correct. It wasn't the "beginning" of Emily and Nikolas, and you didn't spell beginning correctly. Secondly, your capitalization is wrong. Generally only the first word and proper nouns should be capitalized. You should have titled it The beginning and end of Emily and Nikolas. "Beginning", "end", and "of" are not proper nouns. AniMatedraw02:49, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:Tone. The end of the road for Emily is quite poetic, but this isn't a fansite. It is an encyclopedia. Keep it simple and businesslike from now on. I'm fairly experienced here and have given you good advice, but you often revert me or change without discussing or taking the advice. Please, remember we are here to write an encyclopedia. AniMatedraw05:24, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Reading "The end of the road for Emily" heading and AniMate's response to it (calling it "quite poetic") humored me quite a bit. That is not meant to be humor at your expense, BigPadresDUDE. I always feel that you have good intentions here at Wikipedia, and are trying to improve; it is just that type of heading is so not how things are supposed to be done here and seeing that made me feel better during this crappy day I am having (particularly on Wikipedia). Keep your head up; you can become much better with more practice and familiarizing yourself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Flyer22 (talk) 21:19, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As of November 8, we are at 11.76%, with 521 articles currently in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve.
Help out with the project's cleanup listing by fixing problems listed and removing the article from the listing.
The lead section of an article should introduce the subject and summarize the entire article.
If you come across an article that fails notability requirements, you can tag it for speedy deletion if the criteria apply, propose it for deletion, or nominate it at WP:AFD.
Be aware of words to avoid. Certain words, if chosen poorly, can subtly promote a point of view.
I don't think it is. If a page is a red link, it doesn't exist, so there is no way to get a barnstar from it. Remenber: Any red links on the page is not a link to his hidden page. --Hadger00:45, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Nope. It's not. You'll know you've found it when if you see a barnstar and a list of people who've found it. If it's all right with Padres, I'm going to go remove the comment as that doesn't belong there. Good luck!--TwilightHelryx02:34, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
