Orphaned non-free media (Image:61yKdDXOtIL. SS500 .jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:61yKdDXOtIL. SS500 .jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. A tag has been placed on These Are The Days (The Exies song) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 19:14, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RCA/Jive Label Group

[edit]

Your edit of Sony Music labels wasn't entirely accurate. I know it's a new development and the respective websites haven't been updated, but in a nutshell the situation best appears as:

- Zomba Label Group has been renamed to Jive Label Group
- Both RCA Music Group (which remains unchanged) & Jive label Group report to CEO of "RCA/Jive Label Group".
This title was formerly CEO of "BMG Label Group" created under Sony BMG when BMG operations met Sony operations but continued to operate as separate divisions. Now that Sony BMG has become Sony Music (Sony bought off BMG's 50% stake), there is a natural need to drop BMG branding, and subsequently, BMG exec titles. So the major former BMG operations, RCA and Zomba, now RCA and Jive- those names are used in "RCA/Jive Label Group" in the title for the new CEO. However, the divisions still stand as sister divisions, with the note that the Zomba trademark has been dropped as of now. However the rca/jive setup also has legal significance because new releases from any of the labels of the two groups are copyrighted to "rca/jive label group" if you read the fineprint.

A tag has been placed on Uproar Festival requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. The article Taste of Chaos 2010 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A dump of upcoming concert dates, not encyclopedic information per WP:NOT.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have noticed that you have added some text (diff) to Linkin Park discography article and later removed it (diff). Is this because the information isn't correct or because you couldn't find a notable reference? --Neo139 (talk) 20:49, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. On 28 September you made two edits to this article. They came in the middle of a long stream of edits by two users and an IP who are undoubted hoaxers. I have reverted the article to its state before they started on it, so you will need to make your edits again - sorry! JohnCD (talk) 23:32, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's OK, I wasn't criticising your edits, I didn't even look at them. What I wanted to tell you, with apologies, was that you will have to make them again, because I undid them in the course of reverting a whole string of hoax/vandalism. JohnCD (talk) 23:01, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:15, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Keurig Dr Pepper logo.svg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Keurig Dr Pepper logo.svg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:30, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Amazon Studios logo 2019.svg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. File source problem with File:Amazon Studios logo 2019.svg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Amazon Studios logo 2019.svg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Maserati logo 2020.svg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Maserati logo 2020.svg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Pyrope 15:31, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Certification tables

[edit]

Hi FireDragonValo. I noticed that you are adding certification information to certification tables. Your edits are much appreciated, but I noticed that lately I need to correct quite a number of them. Mostly, you seem to ignore the connection between the table and its footnotes, for example here and here. Also, in these edits I needed to correct the alphabetization, fix the footnotes, and add |certyear=. These are just a few examples. Information about correct usage can be found in {{Certification Table Entry}} and also feel free to ask me if you need any assistance or clarification. Happy editing. --Muhandes (talk) 13:04, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi FireDragonValo. You seem to be ignoring my request. I still need to correct your footnotes, e.g. here and here. You also needed to correct |access-date=. While I'm at it, could you please include the |id= for BPI certifications? Feel free to engage in communication if needed. --Muhandes (talk) 10:22, 16 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I ignored you, I tried to add but didn’t have much time and I apologized. FireDragonValo (talk) 17:48, 16 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you say you are not going to ignore it, yet in this edit you completely disregarded the footnotes, adding a random |streaming=true|nosales=yes | noshipments=true unrelated to the table. The table at that time only had shipments, so the correct one would have been |nosales=true. Also, from some reason you also removed a mandatory |digital=true from Canada (which was also required for the US). Note that you also need to set |type=ringtone for ringtone/mastertone certs. I'm sure you mean well, but you also need to learn how to use these templates correctly. --Muhandes (talk) 08:26, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And again, in this edit, this2 and this3, you leave me to clean up after you (not to speak of this edit which I can't even find in the database). If you don't have much time to check after yourself, consider that your edits might be a net-negative to the project. Please stop ignoring other editors' requests, this is not acceptable. Muhandes (talk) 15:31, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. I was just busy. FireDragonValo (talk) 15:35, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but this is not an excuse, especially for repeating the same behavior. If you are busy, don't edit. Making bad edits and forcing other editors to clean up after you is not how we build an encyclopedia. You seem to mean well, don't force me to ask for administrative help. Muhandes (talk) 15:39, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. I’m not trying to force anyone, I’m just trying to fact check. FireDragonValo (talk) 15:40, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In that case I will stop editing for a while and to compose myself and not do bad edits anymore. FireDragonValo (talk) 18:36, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You probably already know what I am here for. Again, you edit and I need to fix. You are, again, ignoring my requests. Are you doing this on purpose or do you lack the competence to edit? Muhandes (talk) 14:04, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry that this comes out as unkind, but you do have to agree we've been through quite a number of attempts from my side to educate you, and I feel a little frustrated. I am not retracting what I said, but if you wish to learn how to edit properly, I am still willing to help. On the other hand, if you continue to be a net-negative, creating work instead of improving Wikipedia, it will have to be stopped. --Muhandes (talk) 14:52, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I will listen this time and yes, I double checked the sources before I edited and yes I lack the competence to edit. FireDragonValo (talk) 19:48, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Find, but do remember that competence is required. The sources are important, but my request regarded the footnotes, not the sources. If you intend to continue editing certification tables, please see Template:Certification Table Bottom#Specific parameters. Muhandes (talk) 16:29, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

why are we switching Prime video logos?

[edit]

I would expect an editor who's been here since 2006 to have gotten the habit of using edit summaries, especially when editing others' user pages. Your current method is less than collaborative and I encourage you to adopt our long-established norms. Chris Troutman (talk) 20:40, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

How? FireDragonValo (talk) 00:56, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Here's how

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to User talk:FireDragonValo does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Hopefully this message meant for new editors is clear enough for you to understand "How" to get with the program. Chris Troutman (talk) 15:13, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Got it. Thank you. FireDragonValo (talk) 01:08, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

See the pattern here? You say "Got it", yet look at these statistics. You left edit summaries for 10% of your edits this month and 25% last month. I don't think we are asking too much, just that you respect our time and leave edit summaries. It takes only a few seconds. Muhandes (talk) 15:35, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And as expected, the statistics didn't change and you keep ignoring all requests to add edit summaries. Again, maliciously or from lack of competence? Please let us know so the admins know the correct reason to block you. Muhandes (talk) 14:06, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Anbernic Win 600 moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Anbernic Win 600, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The draft has no referencing, please add citations in reliable sources. Netherzone (talk) 16:17, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. Is there anyway you can edit that for me if possible? Let me know. FireDragonValo (talk) 18:04, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, FireDragonValo. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "China Audio-video and Digital Publishing Association".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Hey man im josh (talk) 19:44, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
