Martial arts weapons

[edit]

You reverted my edit of List of martial arts weapons. I don't know Wikipedia very well, code-wise especially, but all someone had done was copy and pasted the code of that page over and over again, so I got rid of the repeats. I'm already having to deal with the stupid ClueBot and I try to use the link on its page to tell them it was a false positive but it doesn't work, and now you're reverting my edits too. Please stop, I'm just trying to clean up the page. 70.139.76.145 (talk) 02:17, 2 December 2008 (UTC) Okay, got your message. From now on I'll put in an edit summary, thanks for the info. If I didn't do this right, you can delete it off your Talk Page. :) 70.139.76.145 (talk) 02:27, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since you are the main contributor for this article, I was wondering if you would let me co-nominate this article for Feature list nomination with you after I fix this article to to complete FL criteria. -- SRE.K.Annoyomous.L.24[c] 22:36, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is currently a reference problem with this article. If you look at the Emporis and Skycraperpage wesite, some of the buildings have different statistics on the websites. So how do I fix this problem? -- SRE.K.Annoyomous.L.24[c] 06:27, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for my late reply. I will be cleaning up the list on Saturday, and after that, I will be nominating it for DYK, crediting both me and you as the nominator. Finally, after I ask people to copy-edit the article, we will be nominating it for FLC. Is that fine with you? -- SRE.K.Annoyomous.L.24[c] 18:30, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I will be done with your requests ASAP by tomorrow. -- SRE.K.Annoyomous.L.24[c] 06:50, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for not doing the requests you told me to do so. I will try to do everything by tomorrow. -- SRE.K.Annoyomous.L.24[c] 05:44, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
When I saw the article just a minute ago, I saw that you have already made it to FL status. That is why I don't think I deserve to co-nominate this article with you. I would though help on some minor problems with the article. Best of luck with your future FLC nomination. -- SRE.K.Annoyomous.L.24[c] 08:30, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hydrogen,

My apology for what appears to be vandalism. It is not intended to be. I am attempting to delete the refence on this page because it uses a real persons name. When I created the account there is no way of knowing the edits and comments are permenant. The comments bear no relevance to the content of the article. It is most appreciated if you could allow this deletion. I think the text itself can be read and shown to be irrelevant. It you would be so kind. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.214.197.23 (talk) 02:06, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Questions about how you revert vandalism

I put all the Street Fighter EX Characters in the List of Street Fighter Characters Article, because there was really no point in keeping them seperated, so that's why I blanked the page, cause I'm a noob to Wikipedia, and have no idea how to delete, so, yeah, that's just my opinion. I noticed that you have worked on this article. I came across a false claim in the Granite Chief article. It seems that it is not the highest point the Placer county. Rather the hightest point is along a ridge extending from a mountain named Mount Baldy in Nevada for which there is no article.[1] I tried to fix the error in the list but it doesn't look good. I added a comment to the discussion page.

Nazi, Swastika References Being Purged from Syrian Social Nationalist Party

[edit]

Would you mind having a look at the problem of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party's Nazi history and swastika flag being systematically deleted/vandalized? This removes an important aspect of neutrality from the article. References from many reliable sources are provided. See its talk page. Input requested

[edit]

Hi, your are listed in WikiProject Civil Engineering and I wondered if you might want to weigh in a couple of requested moves?
An editor moved the text from Suspension bridge to Suspended deck bridge and now thinks that the article should land at Suspended-deck suspension bridge. That move discussion is here Talk:Suspended_deck_bridge#Requested_move.
The other move request is here Talk:Suspension_bridge_types#Requested_move which shows what the editor proposes to put into the Suspension bridge article.
The discussion has major consequences on the content of the main article on suspension bridges. The root questions: Is a suspended-deck suspension bridge the proper name for a typical suspension bridge? And what content should be in the Suspension bridge article? - ¢Spender1983 (talk) 01:57, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello WikiProject Space member! A discussion has been started regarding the future of WikiProject Space here; any comments you might have would be welcome! There are mainly two competing ideas:

  1. Centralize all the Space-related WikiProjects, such as Astronomy and Spaceflight, and merge them into WikiProject Space, or
  2. Separate the Astronomy and Spaceflight "sides" of WikiProject, and remove WikiProject Space.

If you can think of other options, that's great too. Your contribution to the discussion would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)

Wikipedia Campus Ambassador needed

[edit]

Hi! My name is Annie Lin - I'm the Campus Team Coordinator at the Wikimedia Foundation. I'm contacting you because you're listed as a resident of San Francisco, and we're currently looking for a friendly Wikipedian to teach students in a University of San Francisco class how to use/edit Wikipedia. This is a role titled the "Wikipedia Campus Ambassador," and you'll basically be doing in-class presentations about Wikipedia, running Wikipedia labs/workshops, and in general providing face-to-face Wikipedia help for the professor and the students in the class. The time commitment is about 3-5 hours a week (with variations throughout the semester), and for this particular University of San Francisco class, most of the workload will be between March and May.

Please let me know if you're interested!

Request for help concerning energy...

[edit]

Hi,

I noticed you listed yourself as a participant of the Energy WikiProject.

There are 2 new outlines in this area that attempt to consolidate Wikipedia's coverage of their respective subjects, gathering and organizing the articles about them into one place and including descriptions for convenience. The purposes of these outlines are to make it easier for readers to survey or review a whole subject, and to choose from Wikipedia's many articles about it.

The new energy outlines are:

Please take a look at them, and....

if you spot missing topics, add them in.
if you can, improve the descriptions.
add missing descriptions.
show parent-offspring relationships (with indents).
fix errors.

For more information about the format and functions of outlines, see Wikipedia:Outlines.

Building outlines of existing material (such as Wikipedia) is called "reverse outlining". Reverse outlines are useful as a revision tool, for identifying gaps in coverage and for spotting poor structuring.

Revising a work with multiple articles (such as Wikipedia) is a little different than revising a paper. But the general principles are the same...

As you develop these outlines, you may notice things about the articles they organize. Like what topics are not adequately covered, better ways to structure and present the material, awkward titles, articles that need splitting, article sections lacking {{Main}} links, etc.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me on my talk page or at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Outlines.

Thank you. Sincerely, The Transhumanist 00:47, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

hydronymy

Hallo, I am interested in hydronymy as it looks the language of prehistoric Europe is reflected therein. I left a message on the wikiproject rivers talkpage, just looking for editors with similar interests to exchange information. I have discovered the so called old european hydronymy is not limited to Europe but has many correspondences in Iran, India and furhter away so I think this disproves the current scholarly etymological interpretations. I sent you an email with details, if you did not get it please send me a wikiemail, so that I can send you an email with the survey questions. I would very much appreciate your cooperation, as you are among the most active Wikipedia editors who show a pattern of reduced activity, and thus your response would be extremely valuable.
