Hello, I have moved your recent creation to the draftspace. It is not yet a fully-formed Wikipedia entry and therefore not suitable for mainspace just yet. Please continue to develop at Draft:The Happos Family and submit when considered suitable. Thank you for helping to expand the encyclopedia. Happy editing. Thanks for uploading File:The Happos Family.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Cartoonito. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:34, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, thanks I understand now. How’s the draft so far? MegaSmike46 (talk) 17:29, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cartoonito, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Small world. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:15, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just a reminder

[edit]

The history section you added to Cartoonito is completely unsourced. When adding content, you are technically responsible for providing reliable sources to back it up and that articles should not contain original research. Foxnpichu (talk) 12:26, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your article On the Team

[edit]

Hello, MegaSmike46! It appears one or more of the pages you created, such as On the Team, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

If you have any questions ask me on my talk page or you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.  —FORMALDUDE(talk) 04:16, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It’s a work in progress, I was just filling in the basic information. There’s more to uncover about this obscure show from Noggin. MegaSmike46 (talk) 05:25, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. If you'd like, I can help you move the page to draftspace so that you can further edit it without risk of deletion. —FORMALDUDE(talk) 06:50, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ned's Newt

[edit]

Can you please undo what FilmandTVFan28 did to the Ned's Newt Page SuperBonnyYahya (talk) 04:48, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That would be unnecessary since the article clearly mentioned a German production company co-producing it with Nelvana. This problem was already cleared on the article talk page. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 16:09, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas & Friends

[edit]

I've reverted your edit to the article Thomas & Friends. The article doesn't mention Cartoonito at all, so there is no basis for adding Category:Cartoonito original programming. Please add a properly sourced section to the article about Cartoonito, before adding the category. Thanks, Laplorfill (talk) 21:49, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think you have misunderstood the purpose of that category. It is for " television programs that have regularly aired their first-run episodes on Cartoonito. It does not list programs which first appeared on a different network" (emphasis added). Since programs like Molang and Thomas & Friends first appeared on other networks, they should not be added to that category. Thanks, Laplorfill (talk) 21:52, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, List of animation studios owned by Comcast NBCUniversal, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Draft:List of programs broadcast by Cartoonito. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with being blocked from editing, or other sanctions. Smile emoji Hi MegaSmike46! Thank you for your contributions. When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. WBD Question

[edit]

Out of curiosity, how come WBD's content distribution/ad sales units are part of the Global Streaming & Interactive division? I've read articles about the recent reshuffle carried out by JB Perrette, and I don't see much relating to the home entertainment distribution/TV distribution units... BiggieSMLZ (talk) 16:27, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I felt it might join that division as I thought it'd make more sense. After all Content Distribution (Home Media) could correlate with the streaming division as well. I mean WB Interactive was part of WBHE for a time.
I may revert it, but until further confirmation, I guess WBD's Content Distribution will just remain under Warner Bros. Entertainment. MegaSmike46 (talk) 16:56, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, so your saying that there needs more to be more reliable sources. MegaSmike46 (talk) 19:10, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's two-fold. Content needs to sourced to reliable sources and much of it is still not. For notability, it needs in-depth coverage and that is why I am recommending reviews from reputable critics (two or three reviews with a couple paragraphs or so critiquing the show). As I have stated above, I also recommend trimming it down (removing all the character and episode details along with the Media section as most of it is unsourced or sourced to unreliable sources such as YouTube anyway). Moving templates

Please be careful when moving templates and adding speedy deletes to redirects. I understand that it is wrong to make big decisions without negotiations. Instead of trying to (re-)create articles myself, I will try to bring contributive research with others. So instead of trying to (re-)create articles myself, I will try to bring contributive research with others. I've realized that many of my disruptions were due to a lack of reliable backup, which led to several unfinished drafts. After many "conflicts," I zoned out by thinking of other things. So I didn't respond for several days offsite. So I won't be making as many drafts or "major edits" to avoid those discussions in the first place. The block evasion likely has something to do with the IP address as I even tried deleting this account at some point. So finally I decided to rectify this matter. I'm sorry.

My suggestion is that you best chance of being unblocked is to take the standard offer, and make a fresh unblock request in 6 months time with no logged out edits or edits from other accounts. PhilKnight (talk) 17:20, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As the template says in boldface, you shouldn't remove declined unblock requests. I restored it, and also fixed your substituted unblock request. You shouldn't subst these templates. Actually, it looks like you're habitually removing every decline. If you do it again, I'll remove your ability to edit this page. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 22:18, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I understand it is wrong, and I'm sorry I couldn't always respond to community concerns. It was to make big decisions without negotiations, even with TV networks & templates. I will help restore articles by bringing citations of lost media. I'm mainly here to clarify things for open sources. I've read the guidelines throughout the months.

As you agree you can't always respond to community concerns, we'll have to leave you blocked. Yamla (talk) 21:21, 24 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear administers, Once again, I apologize for my unintentional disruptions on the website. At the time, I had merely started editing sites a year after making an account. The ongoing events that I'd help out and make Wikipedia a more reliable open source. However, I was not used to working in online community groups, but I wanted to help them. There are articles with few editors, such as TV network programming lists. I'm the one who contributed to those articles (e.g. Disney XD, Boomerang, Nicktoons, Cartoonito, etc.). It's been a while since the incident, and I've made embarrassing mistakes and even violated some terms by using other accounts for fun. I felt no one else would have edited those articles had I not stepped in (e.g. the Disney Junior (block) programming list). I understand watchers have often found my edits disruptive before and the trust may be lost. After seeing more participants, I've learned the need to be a team player regardless. Many users have more experience with this website than me and understand Wikipedia is not a blog. I do not enjoy joining controversies, but I promise to contribute to the community's responsibility/cite concerns. Please give me another chance. In general I am a great believer in giving blocked editors another chance, but unfortunately this time I don't see any possibility of doing so. I couldn't unblock you myself even if I wanted to, because this is a CheckUser block, and I am not a CheckUser. I could contact a CheckUser and suggest an unblock, or just leave the request open on the chance that a CheckUser will come along and lift the block, but I really think either of those would have about as much chance of success as looking out of my window and waiting for a pig to fly past, for several reasons. Firstly, your unblock request doesn't really seem to indicate sufficient understanding of why you were blocked to stand much chance of being accepted; secondly, no CheckUser has seen fit to lift the block yet, although it's been open for a while; thirdly one checkuser (Yamla) has already indicated that he doesn't think you should be unblocked, and the CheckUser who placed the block has not responded in several days since being alerted to this request; fourthly Yamla has stated that you have evaded your block within the last six months. Your best chance is to wait until at least six months since the last time you evaded the block, and then post an unblock request which both shows a clear understanding of the original reasons for the block and also addresses the issue of block-evasion. In order for such an unblock request to have any reasonable chance of success I strongly recommend re-reading the guide to appealing blocks. JBW (talk) 15:24, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is not an unblock request. If you wish to make an unblock request, see WP:GAB. You'll need to commit to always responding to community concerns in a convincing way (this will be challenging, as you've explicitly stated you are unable to do so) and address your violations of WP:SOCK. --Yamla (talk) 21:55, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But, I followed those steps. I was supposed to put this on my talk page. MegaSmike46 (talk) 04:27, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have not followed the instructions in WP:GAB. Your unblock request is malformed. Please reread and more carefully follow the instructions. --Yamla (talk) 16:54, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Several times, it awhile for it the catch on. I managed to finish some work through small edits. Most were cited respectably. MegaSmike46 (talk) 19:51, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do you now understand this was inappropriate? Approximately when did you make your last logged-out edit? --Yamla (talk) 19:53, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I realized I'd seen as another troll/disrupter rather an experienced worker. Even if I provide evident resources. MegaSmike46 (talk) 20:33, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@JBW:I leave this to you. I don't think MegaSmike46 is a good candidate for unblocking but it isn't my call, I've already declined once. This answer only addressed part of the problem, and didn't even do a good job with that. They have evaded their block within the past six months, by the way, but not in the past four. Reminder, NinjaRobotPirate is the blocking admin. --Yamla (talk) 20:39, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I wasn't the most experienced Wiki user, so I made multiple decisions without discussing them with editors. I failed to meet their community concerns at the time while I was offline with anxiety and ended up blocked. It's been over a year since that incident, and I've been off this website for months. I won't make major changes without small group discussions (e. g. templates and redirects), but the ever-changing entertainment industry has intrigued me. I'm the one who sorted out these articles (e.g. notably Cartoonito, Boomerang, Jetix, BVS Entertainment). I found the missing programs for Disney Channel and it's templates.

So if you give me another chance, I'll continue to recover lost media about certain topics and join those group discussions.

Have you edited under any other accounts? Jake Wartenberg (talk) 13:59, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, not in a very long time (about two years) and I only tested it once. Do you know any administrators like Yamla? — Preceding unsigned comment added by MegaSmike46 (talkcontribs) 21:42, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just a heads up to @JJMC89: as the most recent admin to take action here, this editor has now removed restored unblock requests for at least the third time. Each time, they have used a different tactic: first by removing the declined unblock requests, then by blanking everything, including the declined unblock requests, then by restoring everything but the declined unblock requests. I figured that this wasn't crucial enough to notify ANI. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 04:57, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I mostly didn’t erase unblock requests because it was so long and frustrating. So I helped @JJMC89 restore this stuff. MegaSmike46 (talk) 16:11, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You literally have removed the declined unblock requests several times and then yesterday, you restored everything except the unblock requests. Are you aware that this is not allowed under WP:KEEPDECLINEDUNBLOCK? You can remove almost anything you want, but declined unblock requests for active blocks are one of the exceptions because they're part of a community process. Where did you "help" restore these?
All of these are diffs in which you removed declined unblock requests. [1] [2] [3][4][5] and here's one in which you simply removed an admin's answer to an unblock request. [6]. The fact that you're still violating a guideline, after multiple requests to stop doing that going back over a year, will very likely be taken into consideration when an admin evaluates your request. It's also ineffective since you're unable to remove history. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 16:32, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Since you have continued to remove declined unblock requests, I have removed your ability to edit this page. — JJMC89(T·C) 22:08, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
