Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

RE: Ways to improve Noticias Telemundo

[edit]

Thank you. I have also created an article pertaining to Noticias Univision. Both articles encompass the respective networks' news divisions, whereas the Noticiero Univision and Noticiero Telemundo articles kind of integrated between focusing on their flagship newscasts and the parent news divisions. Those two existing articles were restructured in the manner of articles such as those for ABC World News Tonight, the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News to firm the distinction. Reviewer rights

[edit]

Hi. How does reviewer rights work and should I apply? I usually go through RC and NP feeds to review pages. SireWonton 19:13, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

The "reviewer" user right is needed to review changes on pages that are under pending changes protection. With less than one month on Wikipedia and less than 100 mainspace edits I'm not sure you have the experience yet to review others' edits in this way, particularly since pending changes protection is only applied for a cause, so the edits to be reviewed are likely to be controversial or problematic. Allegorical Interpretations of Plato

[edit]

Hi, SireWonton, thanks for your quick patrol of my new article and any help you can give to improve it.

Might I ask for more guidance about Allegorical Interpretations of Plato? Is this the best way to contact you?

1. The Multiple Issues box says too few citations. In the body of the article I try to put a note every sentence or two. Is the problem with the three opening paragraphs? Those are just a summary of what follows and so there are fewer notes. Is that alright? Should I add 'internal' refs to the sections below?

2. The Multiple Issues box says too many sections. The article surveys a lot of history, and I found the sections a good way of keeping the historical periods separate. I like it the way it is, but if you see a way to improve that please tell me more.

Any help appreciated, thanks,JohnD'Alembert (talk) 19:31, 10 November 2015 (UTC)![reply]

Signature needs link(s)

[edit]

Hello, SireWonton. Is it possible you have customized your talk page signature so that it does not contain any links? If so, please could you refer to the guideline WP:SIGLINK? Signatures are expected to include at least one direct internal link to your user page, user talk page, or contributions page. Thanks! Wdchk (talk) 19:46, 10 November 2015 (UTC) Thanks Wdchk! Greenisholives

[edit]

Hi SireWonton. I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the proposed deletion template that you added to the page Greenisholives, because the proposed deletion process is only intended to be used for articles, not redirects. Additionally, there is an active deletion discussion for the redirect—see Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2015 November 11#Greenisholives. Regards, Mz7 (talk) 01:49, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I understand. I didn't know there was a difference. Thanks! SireWonton (talk) 02:45, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi, I know that article looks awful in the absence of a history section, but it can't stay. Thanks, 2601:188:0:ABE6:2C7F:6EC8:FD4E:9E3B (talk) 04:23, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Era

[edit]

Thank you for your effort to improve spelling and grammar on Wikipedia. Please check out Wikipedia's style manual that covers writing the WP:Era, that is, AD, BC, BCE, CE, and all that. In particular, it is traditional to write "AD 14"; "14 AD" used to be considered incorrect, although some style manuals, including Wikipedia's, now allow either. The era style in an article shouldn't be changed without consensus on the article's talk page. Jc3s5h (talk) 11:27, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
