Croatia–Hungary relations GA review
[edit]Hi! Thanks for reviewing Croatia–Hungary relations article. I think I managed to address all issues raised in your review, so could you please check it out?--Tomobe03 (talk) 10:03, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
Crikey, that was quick! Okay, thanks. If you do think of anything that would improve the article (not necessarily re GA standard), let me know. hamiltonstone (talk) 03:17, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- The only thing I can think of that might possibly be expanded is the "Works and exhibitions" and "Themes..." section, but right now both are perfectly sufficient to give a good overview of her work and its significance. I'm just not sure if there are more works that are worth mentioning or if there are other critics who have things worth saying about her work. I don't know if there are any additional sources that could provide that information. I suppose the "legacy" information might be expanded, but since her death was not all that long ago, again, I don't know if that information exists. Again, I think the amount of information you have is appropriate, but since you're asking what else can be improved, those are the only things I can think of. Best of luck. --Tea with toast (話) 03:37, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)
[edit]Hello, you are receiving this message because you are currently a participant of WikiProject Good articles. Since the creation of the WikiProject, over 200 user's have joined to help review good article nominations and contribute to other sections of the WikiProject. Over the years, several of these users have stopped reviewing articles and/or have become inactive with the project but are still listed as participates. In order to improve communications with other participants and get newsletters sent out faster (newsletters will begin to be sent out monthly starting in October) all participants that are no longer active with the WikiProject will be removed from the participants list.
If you are still interested in being a participant for this WikiProject, please sign your user name here and please help review some articles so we can reduce the size of the backlog. If you are no longer interested, you do not need to sign your name anywhere and your name will be removed from the participants list after the deadline. Remember that even if you are not interested at this time, you can always re-add your name to the list whenever you want. The deadline to sign your name on the page above will be November 1, 2012. Thank-you. 13:35, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Your tags on Gustl Mollath
[edit]Hi, just restored your tag there ([1]). - I see full well that this is an affair that needs more explanations and references for the english speaking readers. It seems to me, that there are only very few (besides the article in The Guardian and a short broadcast by the BBC - but I don't know exactly where that may be found. My best guess is, that it may have been somewhere in "BBC newshour".) - There is quite a nasty quarrel going on about the Mollath affair on the german WP. - Please accept my deepest regret and apologies for the rude behaviour of my compatriot. - Yours 46.115.109.182 (talk) 22:39, 7 January 2013 (UTC) (formerly active as User:CaffeineCyclist)

WikiProject Good articles: Recruitment Center (Update #1)
[edit] Hello! Now that the recent Request for Comment has been closed, it is time to implement all the proposals that received support. Among those proposals was to conduct a "Recruiter Drive". However, instead of holding a "drive" WikiProject Good articles will be opening a "Recruitment Center". The current task at hand is to develop a system that everyone agrees on in which can be followed when recruiting a potential reviewer. A draft of a possible system can be found here. I (Dom497) am asking you to review this system and leave feedback on the talk page of "Recruiter Central". The current system can always be changed so feedback is important. As of right now, the current goal is to launch a 2 month trial run (beginning in late June/early July) to see if the Recruitment Center will even work.

WikiProject Good Articles Recruitment Centre
[edit] Hello! Now, some of you might be wondering why there is a Good article icon with a bunch of stars around (to the right). The answer? WikiProject Good articles will be launching a Recruitment Centre very soon! The centre will allow all users to be taught how to review Good article nominations by experts just like you! However, in order for the Recruitment Centre to open in the first place, we need some volunteers:
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. The Wikipedia Library now offering accounts from Cochrane Collaboration (sign up!)
[edit]Cochrane Collaboration is an independent medical nonprofit organization consisting of over 28,000 volunteers in more than 100 countries. The collaboration was formed to organize medical scholarship in a systematic way in the interests of evidence-based research: the group conducts systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials of health-care interventions, which it then publishes in the Cochrane Library.
Cochrane has generously agreed to give free, full-access accounts to 100 medical editors. Individual access would otherwise cost between $300 and $800 per account. Thank you Cochrane!

GAN December 2013 Backlog Drive
[edit] Hello! A GAN Backlog Drive will begin in less than 4 days! In past Backlog Drives, the goal was to reduce the backlog of Good article nominations. In the upcoming drive, another goal will be added - raising as much money as we can for the Wikimedia Foundation. How will this work? Well, its pretty simple. Any user interested in donating can submit a pledge at the Backlog Drive page (linked above). The pledge should mention the amount of money the user is willing to donate per review. For example, if a user pledges 5 cents per review and 100 nominations are reviewed, the total donation amount is $5.00. At the time this message was sent out, two users have submitted pledges for a total of 8 cents per review. All pledges, no matter how much money, are greatly appreciated. Also, in no way is this saying you must make a pledge. |

March 2014 GAN Backlog Drive
[edit]It's that time again! Starting on March 1, there will be another GAN Backlog Drive! There will be several changes compared to previous drives:
- This drive will introduce a new component to it; a point system. In a nutshell, older nominations are worth more points than newer nominations. The top 3 participants who have the points will be awarded the Golden, Silver, or Bronze Wikipedia Puzzle Piece Trophy, respectively.
- Unlike the December 2013 Backlog Drive, earning an additional barnstar if you reached your goal has been removed.
- The allowance to have insufficient reviews has been lowered to 2 before being disqualified.
- An exception to the rule that all reviews must be completed before the deadline has been created.
Also, something that I thought I would share with all of you is that we raised $20.88 (USD) for the WMF in the December 2013 drive. It may not sound like a lot but considering that that was raised just because we reviewed articles, I would say that's pretty good! With that success, pledges can be made for the upcoming drive if you wish.
More info regarding the drive and full descriptions regarding the changes to this drive can be found on the the drive page. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message on the drive talk page.
I look forward to your participation and hope that because of it, some day the backlog will be gone!

Coronation of the Russian Monarch
[edit]Hi! It has been about four years now since you closed out your review on Coronation of the Russian Monarch; unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the issues addressed you had raised at that time, so I understood completely why the article failed. I moved on to other stuff, and hadn't actually visited that particular article again since that time, until tonight. I'm bogged down with some other things, but I may see if I can't go back sometime in the next month and visit the final issues you raised about the references; assuming I'm able to do so, do I resubmit it to you, or (since so much time has elapsed) do I send it back to the regular GA review process? I'm about to send up another article for GA review after I get some work done with the references on it; I'd really like to "finish what I started" with the Russian article, as well. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated! Cheers! - Ecjmartin (talk) 02:54, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you! I understand about life circumstances: I've just published one small book, am getting ready to publish a very large book, and have a lot else going on with me as well, so I will have to work on this as circumstances permit. I would like to finish it off and see it move up, though, and will be glad to let you know when I resubmit it through the main GA nomination channel, as you suggested. Thanks for your reply, and good luck with everything!! - Ecjmartin (talk)
