Charter Oak is a census-designated place (CDP) in Los Angeles County, California. It is about 26 miles (42 km) east of downtown Los Angeles. At the 2020 census, 9,739 people lived there.[3]
Charter Oak is in the eastern San Gabriel Valley and is in between Glendora to the north and Covina to the south. It is sometimes called the "unincorporated part of Covina".
