Notes

[edit]
  1. ^ Greeley was on the Liberal Republican ticket in Wisconsin
  2. ^ Based on reporting in newspapers at the time, it appears that these votes were intended for Straight-Out Democratic Party electors. However, the canvass does not list any names for O'Conor electors. All of these votes are simply listed as "Scattering" in a single column.
  3. ^ Based on totals for highest elector on each ticket
  4. ^ Listed as "Scattering" on the official canvass
  5. ^ Based on highest elector on each ticket
