Work with people, not against them
[edit]Please do not threaten other editors with blocks, especially if they are an administrator. It's a threat that you can't follow through on so it is meaningless and disruptive to other editors. I realize that editing on Wikipedia can be frustrating but you'll succeed more when you work with people, in cooperation, rather than threatening people. Happy editing! Liz Read! Pretty Rhythm
[edit]I'm notifying you that I undid your move from Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream to "Pretty Rhythm (TV series)" especially since you did not state a rationale in your edit summary. There are four Pretty Rhythm television series in total and all sources for the first one explicitly call it Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream. lullabying (talk) 18:54, 22 July 2019 (UTC)
Can you separate Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future?CuteDolphin712 (talk) 01:32, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
If you have enough sources, that's fine. But as of now, there currently are no enough sources to give its separate article. It's fine under the Sequels section where it is, as it explicitly shows that it is a sequel and keeps its own name. Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future also redirects to that section. lullabying (talk) 08:01, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
Second, why you separated all Pretty Rhythm series to individual pages (I don't know about King of Prism) CuteDolphin712 (talk) 09:12, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
Each of them have separate stories and deserve separate articles, and the original article was getting too long. Pretty Rhythm was also changed to focus on the franchise and original games. Also, Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live follows an entirely separate story with little connection to the previous stories and therefore doesn't share the same plot, so it wouldn't make sense to have it on the same page as Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream. A good example to look at is Futari wa Pretty Cure, where there is no separate article for Max Heart despite having a new title. lullabying (talk) 11:04, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
I guess you can say the same thing as the first 3 PreCure series (Futari wa Pretty Cure, Max Heart, Splash Star). If you look on some anime pages, a lot do not have independent articles for its sequel series. See below for example:
- Hetalia (all sequel series)
- Jewelpet (TV series) (all sequel except Lady Jewelpet and Jewelpet: Magical Change)
- Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch (Pure)
- Naruto (Shippuden)
- Ojamajo Doremi (Sharp, Dokkan, and GoGo!) [would be too short if you created them)
- Show by Rock!! (Show by Rock!!#)
- Urusei Yatsura (film series) (Urusei Yatsura 4: Lum the Forever)
- Yes Precure 5 (Go Go)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to List of programs broadcast by Seoul Broadcasting System, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. I used template:ill, which you reverted for no reason. The guidelines: Help:Interlanguage_links - Inline links.
If a red link is not appropriate locally for whatever reason, such as because the subject does not appear to be notable or because you are unable to supply an English translation of the title, then linking a page in another language may be useful.
The red link informs readers that the page does not exist locally, thus inviting its creation, and avoiding directing readers to a page that many of them will not understand. The disadvantage is that it conceals the existence of the foreign-language page, which might in itself be of interest to some readers, and may also be valuable to anyone wishing to create a corresponding English Wikipedia article. That is why template:ill is added. ~~ CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 10:39, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
- As The Banner said, "this is the English language Wikipedia. Not much people can read Korean here, so linking to Korean-language articles is useless." Can you do it yourself instead? CuteDolphin712 (talk) 14:09, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
- The Banner said it, but it doesn't mean it is correct. We are currently discussing this. So, if you see any guidelines saying not to use Template:ill, please provide them. ~~ CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 16:47, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hi CuteDolphin712, If you want to create an article on this person, create in draft (WP:AFC) where it can be reviewed. At the moment, there is insufficient references to support a mainspace BLP article on this person. This article was reviewed as part of the WP:NPP process, so please do not revert it. It is a common pattern in NPP to see folk writing over redirect but to do that they must well-sourced or they are reverted per policy. scope_creepTalk 12:56, 31 October 2019 (UTC)
- I found enough of her single notability outside I Ris, such as films. Acting IS outside their secondary activities besides being part of the group. User:Lullabying said that secondary sources are Oricon and Natalie. I think the group was made just for the anime, similar to Kirapika for example. - This is to be more consistent with other group pages, such as Cute (Japanese idol group)#Members. We do not list them anymore, so that's why I removed them. Birthday of former members must never ever be listed. CuteDolphin712 (talk) 19:52, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
- I don't think it was a necessarily bad change, myself, though I could understand why some regular readers and editors of that particular article might see it as a bad one. When you say "we", do you mean there was a consensus for a style change at an idol-related Wikiproject or the like? (Since it was reverted, maybe it'd be worth getting article-specific consensus on the article talk page? Though it might have gotten reverted because the edit summary was "removing all content" instead of something descriptive that doesn't sound like an autosummary for a vandalism edit? IDK.) - Purplewowies (talk) 23:50, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Your draft article, Draft:Lee Yeol-eum
[edit]Hello, CuteDolphin712. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Lee Yeol-eum".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}

Creating redirects
[edit]Hey, could you stop creating redirects for articles I planned to draft? I noticed you created Ensemble Stars! discography right after you looked at my page. I don't understand why you're doing this, because it kind of feels like you're trying to compete against me for article creations. I have no problems if you're creating the article yourself but please don't just create redirects for something specific I listed on my work page. lullabying (talk) 16:29, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
- Uh, I'm not competing against you. CuteDolphin712 (talk) 10:38, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Then please stop creating redirects on articles I planned to draft. Like I said, I have no problem if you were going to make these articles on your own but the fact that you made the redirect right after commenting on my talk page shows that you made redirects based on my work page and it comes off as competition. lullabying (talk) 16:51, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Mei Yamazaki
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Mei Yamazaki requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Abdotorg (talk) 17:32, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hi~ I just want to say I want to appreciate your editing efforts, especially around Aikatsu-related and Pretty Series-related topics (including Pripara ofc) You can call me Nyan, im a huge fan of these series but I always refrain from editing the article about them myself mostly because Im not experienced on fiction-related articles. I mostly edit on history articles, administrative divisions, and cities. It makes me happy to realize that there are several editors that are familiar or know about them, considering the fanbase themselves are small and seems nonexistant most of the time. Nice to meet you~

Minor edits
[edit]Hi CuteDolphin712! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at 2024 Slovak presidential election that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. — Manticore 01:39, 14 April 2024 (UTC)

Recent AfD nominations
[edit]Hello! You must have noticed that I regularly participate in Czech Republic-related AfD debates. Please, be aware that debating nominations takes away time and energy that could be invested elsewhere. For example Jaroslav Kopřiva took me an hour. Quite a lot of your recent nominations have been unsuccessful – out of your last ten nominations, only two ended as 'delete' (redirect), six of them were 'keep' and two ongoing ones are also close to 'keep'. Your last nomination of Pavel Šulc almost felt like trolling to me, and even you yourself admit that you don't follow Czech football. Many articles need to be reworked, not deleted. It would be better to improve the quality of nominations instead of the quantity. Thanks. FromCzech (talk) 11:40, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, sorry if I do not talk well too much. I also have been working hard on football-related articles recently, especially players with international career at senior level. In further case, I will try to be even more aware with the status of such articles and improve them. CuteDolphin712 (talk) 10:08, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

Removing archive URLs from references with live URLs
[edit]Hi CuteDolphin712! I noticed on this edit you made on the article "Robert Fico" that you removed the archive URLs of references that had live URLs with the edit summary "These sources still exist!" In general, it is "suggested" that references add an archive URL to status when the URL status is live per "Template:Cite web". When this is done, the "url-status" parameter can be set to indicate whether the original URL is "live" or "dead". I went ahead and reverted your edit (but was sure to restore the fix you made per WP:CURLY). Thanks! 11:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC) Wikipedialuva (talk) 11:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- OK, but I find it unnecessary to add archive dates in live URL whereas we usually do so in dead ones, that's why I removed them. Clara A. Djalim (talk) 11:25, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

Bellingham's debut
[edit]Hello. To clarify, I don't think it was actually necessary to add the BBC ref in the first place. Although the Sky ref doesn't use the actual word "debut", it's clear from the wording "Bellingham's introduction to become the third-youngest player after Theo Walcott and Wayne Rooney to play for England - aged 17 years and 136 days" that it was his debut. Had he played before, he would have become the third-youngest (or maybe second-youngest or even youngest) at a younger age. However, it did no harm.
I moved it because the BBC ref doesn't verify him replacing Mount after 73 minutes. Probably placing it after the comma in the first sentence, before the mention of Mount, would have been preferable to having both refs after the second sentence. But as it stood, and stands again since you restored it, the second half of the first sentence isn't verified by the BBC ref. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:13, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- There was no source after the sentence: He made his debut in a friendly match against the Republic of Ireland at Wembley on 12 November, replacing Mason Mount after 73 minutes of a 3–0 win. that's why I restored it. You may revert my last restoration again, but should we use this reference repeated from Sky Sports below following the sentence: At 17 years, 136 days, he became England's thirdyoungest full international; only Theo Walcott and Wayne Rooney had appeared at a younger age. ? (<ref name="SkySports2020"/>) or just leave it per before my first edit.

- We're not obliged to have a source after each sentence, so long as all the intervening content is covered by the next source(s), which it was. However, WP:TSI does advise keeping citations close to the content cited, to avoid the risk of breaking text-source integrity if content gets rearranged or expanded. The BBC ref does explicitly state its being his debut, so I'd leave it in, placed after the first comma. Don't think there's much danger of any content being added between the two sentences, so there's no real need to repeat the Sky ref, but it does no harm. So:
He made his debut in a friendly match against the Republic of Ireland at Wembley on 12 November,<BBC ref> replacing Mason Mount after 73 minutes of a 3–0 win.<Sky ref> At 17 years, 136 days, he became England's third-youngest full international; only Theo Walcott and Wayne Rooney had appeared at a younger age.<Sky ref>
- Hope this is OK with you. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 11:55, 21 August 2024 (UTC)

Non-attributed translations
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from cs:Vít Šimral to another page. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:
NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago.
